On the eject sound, that's not from the dash. That's a part of the new 360S. But all the sounds in the new dash are similar, techy/soft.
While I'm working on the discipline of simply not responding to this nonsense, I'll go one more time at least:
I "have it" and there is no lag whatsoever, anywhere, and it's significantly faster than the preivous dashboard.
Edit: Mostly all games/apps load faster as well.
I personally didn't like GOW3, but I love this game. It is a button masher as heart so it's like any other button masher when that's the focus. I find the story atmosphere and non-hack sequences much more engaging, so far anyway.

The funny thing is since the price increase announcement, discounts have been more plentiful than ever before, even from MS themselves. If everyone takes advantage of the steep discounts, MS will be hurting over the next couple years with regards to subscription sales. It's ridiculous right now. It is. Fast, clean. The new sounds are soft and nice. Like the new Xbox power and eject sounds. The new Netflix UI is fast as well and, at least on new Xbox, streaming over Wireless-N results in HD with no downgrading to SD due to bandwith loss. Feel free to disconnect the wires.
ESPN rocks as well. I got to see the Michigan vs Indiana game and watch Denard Robinson go nuts for the Wolverines in streaming HD. Good stuff Maynard.
8/10 is good. But I'm getting tired of PS3 folks pissing on Heavenly Sword because NT went multiplat. Get over it.

LOL. No, of course all fans of DMC are not fanboys nor congregate here. But you can expect that on a mostly hardcore, PS3 majority gaming site, DMC articles will mostly attract hardcore DMC fans.
There are more people who played DMC and didn't like it, or never played it because it didn't appeal to them than there are people who played it and are hardcore fans. But you won't see that in a DMC article on a hardcore gaming site.

I like the westernization of the character. Old one didn't appeal to me, but I don't like Dragonball Z either ... what bothers me is the feminization of the character. I'm just not into that. Don't smoke either.
Given the subject matter, the Lovely Bones was really fantastic from a Director's standpoint. Consider the subject matter, and what he did with that movie, pretty good work. Definitely not for the mainstream but good nontheless.

That was one of the PS3 bases biggest knocks against Heavenly Sword which I think is one of the best games ever. I guess if you're hardcore and play a 6-10hr game through in a weekend you're right.
For more casual players who play a couple hours a weekend, you're looking at a month and a half.
