Whats kind of the point, that you need more luck than skill?
Your talking out of your a**
Completely agree g-nome, Pacific Rift was the pinnacle of this series. I just want a 3D TV to experience it again.
There was more skill involved in the first two, whereas its a bigger slice of luck you need for Apocalypse
@Ramon No, WE probably don't need another version, I have an original phat and a slim version. But seeing as this is probably a cost saving exercise, to increase Sony's profit on each unit sold, or to give the option of offering a cheaper model to consumers, then this is a Sony requirement.
Sony isn't just here to tend to your needs, try seeing things from other points of view rather than just your own.
LOL@Derek, well somebody had to say it
@Fullmetal - Yes all the games you bought will be transferable, but I think its limited to only two portable devices (psp or vita), so as long as you haven't transferred them onto PSP's, you should be good to go
Yeah, the game lacked some good community support. Zipper should have listened more to people on the forums to shape how the game was handled and what made up the DLC.
I'd loved to have seen all the highest ranked players in the game being banned from SVER, to force some people into the other clans for competition.
I still need to go back to get my platinum trophy (hopefully)
I think it's actually a real article, but still a joke.
It wasn't done for its humour, put s*** in, you well get s*** back out
I'd agree with nintendojunkie28, think you were being a touch over sensitive over the comment
And they must have listed this too low and now see they will be losing out if they honoured the deal.
I'm just shocked that they can get away with cancelling the orders. If they made a mistake, maybe they should learn from it. Its not the first time they have done it, and unless they are made to pay, they wont ever learn, so it wont be the last either.
What the headline, or even those opening paragraphs fail to inform on though is that the NeoGAF servers were all down when their big games were being shown, such as Gears, Forza etc.
Pointless article
I've really liked the E3 quests in Home, they add a little something after watching the E3 presentation.
I'll need to jog down to the Event Horizon lounge though, that world domination game sounds like Risk, and i loved Risk.
+Bubs for the info guys
@SuperBeast811 - MAG was actually an excellent game, sure it had its flaws, but definately my favourite FPS on the PS3.
Things that let it down were the lack of teamwork in some games, people not having mics for communicating and other than the DLC, the game lacked some real support from Zipper (extra maps for the Domination games etc)
Zipper are only at fault for one of those 3
Really, I didn't know that either, +bubs for the helpful info
LOL@sarydactl - As much as it was a warning to your fellow US residents, it also highlights how much we are ripped off in the UK, or even Europe wide.
I thought it was a steal when i seen the headline, i've still to get mine. Your comment just reminded me how we always get the s***** end of the stick due to the different economies/taxes etc
I actually thought it was a well written thought provoking article the guy wrote.
Whilst it had parts you could debate (the guys opinions on the game cube and N64, or even his love of Pikmin) he at least presents good arguments to the points he was trying to make.
Of course you need to accept that it was going to be topped off with a rather sensationist comment which has became the headline to the article.
@ crazy gooner - I was waiting for someone to confirm this. So will these games show up as a new game with its own seperate trophy lists if you DL the games from the store but have already played the disc versions?
The fact was passing was much more an important part of PES, crisp one touch passing and a good through ball to unlock a defence. Football perfection until around PES 6
I dare say they gave away so much so that everybody would get something. I already have MS:Apocalypse, LBP 2 and Infamous 2 already, but i'm chuffed to bits with all the games i haven't played before.
And to the arguments that its only a rental like service. No company offers this amount of rentals all at the one time, so you can drop in and out of all the games at your convenience.
Gotta wonder how much these kinda offers impact on game sales on ...
@Dark Hollow "put does that really solve the greed of some developers?
they can just cut content and release it later without being locked on disk"
Yeah, but as Mysterious Walker above you said, and if everybody took the same stance as him, they wouldnt keep selling it this way if people didnt start buying it in the first place
Supply and demand people
@Murkster - Didn't you read the post by flatbattery above. Don't believe everything that becomes a story on N4G
Is this not a duplicate posting, I read this two days ago
