I'm the other way round. Loved the PS 3 version, but never realised it had released on the original playstation. Was it any good on PS 1?
Maybe if you explained your reasons for not liking one over the other I could see the point your making.
I actually preferred Warhawk, mostly to do with its setting and how the environments looked, but the core gameplay has been expanded on well enough so I'm sure I'll still get it when it shows up.
It's always worrying when a thread on N4G about a game is more entertaining than the game itself
Brilliant links Zha1tan, and so so true. Advertisements is also the reason is rather download tv series or UFC events than to watch on the TV
Console gaming has, but since its trying to operate in an economic climate where average Joe is getting squeezed financially in every aspect, I'm not sure these issues are entirely the fault of the gaming industry.
I can't remember the last time I had a pay rise that at least matched inflation, so I'm effectively taking a pay cut over the last few years and that has had an effect
So is there good reason this will never make it to PSN?
Was it published by ms? Was an exclusivity deal signed?
Its unfortunate that you only have the one bubble as your reply was at least bringing something to the argument, and i do take your points on board. But the fact still remains there are plenty of shovelware games out there and all games seem to start off at a very high price (for what it is)
Everybody knows a tonne of games that on reflection, after buying, should have been valued at half the cost, but games dont come with prices to match their quality. Sure, the prices do ...
The bit holding me back from a Vita at the minute is the expensive memory cards and initial launch prices for games.
I've already started to snap up some of the dual play games on my PS3 though as i'll definately get one eventually.
What if sony offered a good deal on trading in a PSP towards the costs, or even trading in Pro Duo memory sticks for Vita ones. I've already spent a sh** load on the PSP, games and memory card upgrades
@C4BL3 I'm not for telling anyone how to run their life, i just think if you read the article, it was actually refferring to the amount of time your game console is on without actually being used, eg left on standby or not switched off etc.
It's only discussing implementing a way of forcing you to save electricity, not for monetary costs, but due to climate change etc. EG, forcing those who are selfish to be more considerate without actually impacting on how much T...
Oh sorry, you can't. You've already been reduced to two bubbles.
Surely you have an alternative account to disagree and maybe come back with something more mature?
Taking things out of context now too are you, why didn't you copy the complete sentence?
I was defending myself from being called a self entitled d bag, and then accused of perpetuating piracy.
All i was trying to do was stimulate the conversation on piracy, which has to be looked at from both sides.
I even went as far as suggesting a way in which a piracy free environment like the Vita is, and pretty much most of the PS3 userbase,...
With move support and hopefully 3D, this will be a day one purchase. My gf wouldn't talk to me if i didn't lol
Looks fantastic
"Shame on them for wanting to make a profit for the hard work they've done, and so they can continue to make games in the future. And shame on you for sounding like an entitled d-bag."
@suicidalblues. Listen douchebag (i don't usually get into insulting people, but since you want to act childish) i don't have one single pirated game between the PS2, PS3, PSP, mobile phone and PC i have in my house, i can just see things objectively from both sides.

Very selfish way to look on it C4BL3. The power demands affect the planet we ALL live on.
These are worldwide policies that need to be introduced. The view in the UK is starting to get like, whats the point in us cutting down when you look at the power demands of the big economies like the US, China, India who are less inclined to get behine major green policies.
Maybe it should be questioned why the need to combine the games with great stories with the games that provide great online multiplayer experiences.
Maybe if they sold both off as seperate, cheaper components, they would see which side of the game is actually holding up the other.
I'd buy the single player elements of Uncharted games, and leave the multiplayer, same with Dead Space, though both of these would work with online co op story play.
I also think there is an element of Sony wanting it all there own way. The question still has to be asked, why do people feel the need to pirate games in the first place, and why did the rental market expand so rapidly?
Games in themselves are not worth £40 - £50, though that is subjective and could easily be argued that some games do actually give you value for money at that level, but those games are a small minority.
Yes piracy does affect s...
Fair point exile, i'm probably the most guilty in this thread for that. Maybe we shouldn't approve such sensationist headlines which actually make you NOT want to click on the story.
Isn't that the complete opposite of what a headline is supposed to do
Why don't they analyse how much money is wasted on stupid analysis.
Wheres the analysis on how much money is wasted by these people feeding them, powering computers and provision of lighting and heating for carrying out such inane studies.
Make sure your own s*** doesn't stink before going and complaining about others.
I like the hamster idea though, its that kinda thinking outside the box that will have you designing kinect gam...
The good game play combined with rank story line is also an accusation that can be levelled at Killzone games too. At least with the 2nd one, the gameplay outshone the story line enough, much like the Gears games.
The poor gameplay/controls of the 3rd meant that now the gameplay and story were both as bad as the other.
Story was never Gears focus, so its understandable that it could be criticised. Just not sure why now though, this isnt news.
The whole set up of the store stinks on this side of the pond tbh, so its not just pricing issues. I can never understand how things can run so differently within a company just because an ocean seperates them.
The look and layout of the PS Store, the communication and feedback from Sony staff on the playstation forums, pricing and better PS+ deals are all far superior in the USA.
Only the pricing issue can be blamed on complex ecenomics between differing...
