@Factual Evidence "My only concern is that I hope it doesn't have trophies...."
Unfortunately it does have trophies, and ones where you need to build levels too, so being a completionist, you're gonna have to cough up some dough, which is really disapointing. Hopefully like the other LBP DLC trophies, i hope you have to buy and install the MOVE Creation pack before the trophies show up on your list.
Or preferably, offer it at a really go...
Yeah, i have a few mates who only gave MAG 10 mins of play too.
Too much difference from COD for ya was it, too far out your comfort zone.
I find it difficult to believe you could label something as stale after only playing 10 mins.
A great job that you enjoy doing along with great pay would be worth having a MS in computer engineering.
Getting one over on "fanboys" who disagreed with you on N4G not so much
Jessupj, you definately need to start at the beginning with this one. When it first released, i never knew there was such a good story behind Kratos's angry demeanour.
The HD remake of these two looks way better than GoW 1 & 2 though
Fair point Baka-akaB, now i'm left wondering why Sony didnt just patch over Pacific Rift so that all the tracks were in 3D rather than the handful of tracks i believe are in the 3D Rift game.
Pacific Rift still remains one of my favourite racing games and definately the high point in the Motorstorm series
Difficult to believe that it can be implemented that well with a patch though. You'd think this type of feature would have to be included within the core game engine.
A good example of this is Motorstorm:Pacific rift. If it was that easy to patch over, Sony would have done it that way rather than rebuilding the core engine of the game.
Theres a lot more important things to get right with the PES franchise than adding bells and whistles like 3D support...
Ooooohhhh i cannot wait. Chains of Olympus was excellent and i never got Ghost of Sparta so i'm looking forward to finishing off the series on the big screen.
I'll still need to go back and replay GoW 2 due to a glitched trophy :(
Even so, he can at least put his point across without resorting to insults.
I have to agree with his points about its linearity, platforming aspects etc. The shooting mechanics were fine though so not sure what the problem was here, but as GUYwhoPLAYSvideoGAME pointed out, i think he's missing the point of what it tries to do.
It doesnt try to redefine the platforming aspect, or bring a whole new way of shooting enemies etc. It plays out as an outstan...
@Quickstrike - Yeah i realised that shortly after adding the comment. I do realise i can miss a few of the medals out for getting the trophies, but my point was the ill concieved nature of them.
Precious Cargo trophy will be a difficult one to get too, but my point still stands regarding the repairing/destroying requirements of AA Guns, mortars and sensor arrays etc. As multiple people can carry this out at the one time, the repairing requirements should be greater than the...
@Urrakia34 "Yes I understand he committed a crime but that punishment is just completely excessive and inhumane."
No, the inhumane part occurred when he decided to rob someone who was clearly hurt and in need of help, so why should we treat him any differently.
Some of the rioting and looting can be described as oportunistic thuggery and stupid. But stealing from people who would struggle to fend for themselves due to an injury, or running a car...
Tarbis got it right with the DLC not being part of your 100%. DLC trophies should only appear on your list if you actually pay for and install the DLC.
As for online trophies, i think online has become part of the mainstream now, and well thought out achievements can actually add to the game. Its ill concieved trophies that actually detract from the experience.
MAG is a good example of ill concieved trophies. Theres a trophy for repairing 50 Anti Aircraft...
Limewax is spot on and Sony are doing themselves no favours with their pricing. I'd jump on this if it was offered at £30 and actually offered a reason not to go get it from a store. At £35 for the game, i can get it from a store, get through the game and sell it on.
For £30, i'd probably buy the DD and let Sony/Sucker Punch take all the profits for themselves.
So even though its their top seller over the summer, they could have so...
I'm unsure if this is a review or a sales pitch.
Having played the 2009 version due to it being free on PS+, and enjoyed playing it enough to buy the add on packs, i even sorta looked forward to trying the demo of the 2012 version.
i just couldnt get into the 2012 version due to the front end presentation so can't really comment on the 2012 online play. But i never had a problem getting a game online on the 2009 version.
I think Unicronic came closest to drawing from the article why it isnt selling as well as Kinect, and is partly right
"The article, sadly, is spot on. Move hardware is sound but gaming support has been very lukewarm to date."
I think its more 3rd party integration required in some of their core titles. Why hasnt sony offered their own code and routines for implementing it into the big FPS like BF 3 or MW 3. Sony said themselves that the reason ...
Does anyone know if the Toy Story level kit will have a batch of trophies and some good challenges etc. I thought the MGS and PotC level kits were cool and added well to the game.
"Not so much according to Reggie who likened garage devs to amateur musicians."
I hope Reggie realises that even the Rolling Stones were amateur musicians at one point. Sounds like a really shorted sighted view in my opinion.
@Father Murder X. LBP 2 is by no means a downloadable PSN type game being sold for full price. It may not have had the same impact as the first game, and for me wasn't as much fun as the 1st, but its still a quality game.
I'd just like to see more game packs like the MGS or pirates of the carribean which actually add more value to the game than the useless costumes they release on a regular basis.
@TurismoGTR "Remember Sony showed us a tech demo about you draw something on the PSeye and it can detect it... what happen to that? "
To be fair, isnt this feature included in eye pet, maybe not to the same degree as the tech demo you speak of, i'm not sure. In eye pet, if you draw a plane or a car, the game recognises it and gives that freaky looking half monkey/half cat creature a plane or car to ride around on.
Cant wait for the Vita thou...
Well considering some of the bashing comes from X-Box owners, does that not show the strong feelings of being let down by the company they have invested time and money in.
There are ways of expanding your demographic without abandoning the people who got them into the position they are in just now.
Oh, and to AceofStaves point that "It's the fact that when the PS3 launched, and the only strong titles for it were multi-plats". This statemen...
Explain what you mean by not doing that well. Considering the amount of content thats out for it (games/Blu rays/certain TV Subscription channels) the adoption rate isn't that bad, and it will only get better as costs decrease and content increases.
Whilst i agree somewhat that a single path would be better for all, different technologies drive competition and advance the technology. So someday we may be watching content that looks as good as full steroscopic 3D, with p...
