Well you could navigate the PS3 XMB using the move controller so I don't see it as a far fetched option. As you pointed out though, it would only be an added on choice.
Still not something needing so much focus at a console reveal.
Do you mean only asking the ones who have positive comments to make?
And you never know, maybe Peter was dreaming of cloud computing providing his game experiences, but at least he woke up in the morning.
So you don't know of one game on the 360 that is horrible and a rip off?
Making it more difficult for indie publishers is not a quality assurance procedure
LOL, 7 disagrees to El Nino's comment. Can any one of you tell us what part you disagreed with or what part was untrue?
Healthy competition is good for the industry, but you have to question how healthy the competition provided by MS is in this argument.
Having more money to buy exclusive timed DLC or charging subscription fees to pay for the online portion of the £50 game you just bought are not good for the business.
They did bring achievements, but for what they have brought to the gaming industry, I'd rather they hadn't bothered.
I'm all f...
And the generation before that.
If it was their first time, you can give them the benefit of the doubt. If you let it happen a second time and still go and buy their products you have to ask who is the real problem here.
MS wouldn't behave this way if consumers didn't let them and spoke with their wallets
I wasn't hugely impressed. feels a bit unpolished and generic
Yeah but why aren't Sony doing this themselves. Don't stop Gamestop from doing their own pre order system, but surely there's money to be made from a couple of million fans wanting to stick £10 down as a pre order. The interest on it alone would be worth doing.
If it wasn't worth doing financially, do you think Gamestop would still do it?
@asmith - I feel the exact same way, for what I got with my PS 3 out of the box, I've never felt short changed by the console.
But for true market adoption, its not consumers like me and you they are trying to capture as fermcr points out. They're are still some who feel that's way too much for a games console.
For all the people who don't read N4G or other gaming websites, they wont know the panning the X-Box One has been taking. So if that c...
Some of the best stuff on the Vita is only available on the Vita though. UC Golden Abyss is far better than UC 3, Everybody's Golf with trophies is fantastic. Gravity Rush and LBP Vita are also highly recommended.
You would think they would have the PS home stream sorted after this number of years and is really a missed opportunity.
They could bring so many more new users to Home if they had a reliable working stream in home when they say they will. They could then sell loads of marketing stuff, DLC, themes, avatars etc in the cinema lobby.
Playing it right now on the Vita. It definitely raises a smile and a few laughs. Not much in the way of replayabilty though
Golding, I never once told you what console to get. Your first post was to point out that you wanted a device that can do more than just gaming. Hence my post was to open your eyes up to what you don't want to believe is true. So I told you "you can get a PS 3 which will do all that for you.
You were the one who TOLD people what to get in your first post.
"You should get a ps4 if you need only gaming. Those that want entertainment and some gami...
@jak you say "those last 2 exclusives" like these will be the last exclusive releases on the PS 3.
Just because the PS 4 comes out, it wont be the last exclusive you will see on the PS 3
You honestly couldn't make this stuff up lol
Golding, Playstation has been doing more than gaming since its inception.
The first PS also played music CD's
The PS 2 was most peoples introduction to DVD's
The PS 3 was the cheapest blu ray player when it released and many people probably bought it for this function. It also played about every file format in the world other than MKV files.
If you want a console that you can watch TV on, Blu ray movies, listen to music, go on the int...
Well they said it would be profitable from the start, so no more making losses on the launch consoles etc.
Less R&D costs that were associated with the cell, blu ray etc
How they make money on PS+ with all the games they give away, now that is a mystery lol
He would be able to explain himself if had more bubbles. You'd think he would use it to better effect lol.
I'm not sure what he's on about either
Mega you're repeating yourself. You honestly expected a console reveal with hardly any games?
Are you trying to convince yourself or others on here? What about showing maybe footage of 5 of these exclusives, then keeping footage of the other 10 at E3
Releasing Ico and Shadow of the Colossus on PS+ sure seems like a move to drum up interest (not sure they had to do much drumming right enough) and would point to a release date being announced. Think it will be for the PS 3 though
