@kane22 - I personally can't wait for Sony to blunder again like they did with the PS3 as you see it.
The PS3 was and still is a fantastic console, even for the £425 I paid for the launch edition. I still feel I got way more than my moneys worth for it.
@Sourtroll
1. The order hasn't been downgraded, the developers wanted a cinematic feel to the game, hence the black borders and strange resolution format.
2. Infamous hasn't been downgraded either, maybe you should look up what downgraded means.
3. The PS4 web browser is super quick and I've had no issues with it.
4. The PS4 already does 3D
Keep trying though
I've never made a complaint about paying £425 for my PS3 at launch, I think it would depend on what you're getting inside the box for your $500.
I think it's more the fact that the price is $100 more for less inside the box that's the issue. They will need to drop the forced Kinect if they want to be more competitive
Unfortunately for MS, it takes more than one position to bring these innovative type studios to the fore.
It's all well identifying innovative developers, you need a supporting network behind that to give them the room to breathe, be in charge of their own creative freedom and make their own mistakes. It may take time for MS to get to the same position as Sony in this regard.
Recognising that is the first step though, kudos to Phil on pointing it out.
Unfortunately, its the fact that they don't know what to do, and that has been their biggest issue with PES for the whole of last generation.
My last was 2010's and have played the demos of the later versions and they just can't seem to capture the magic that made it the must have footie game during the PS2 era.
Is the showreel suggesting there may be PS4 versions of Motor storm being produced. As much as Driveclub looked fantastic, the MS clips got me more excited. Best racer last gen (especially Pacific Rift)
A very addictive old school shooter, it was my first PS4 game to play and my first PS4 platinum, but not The Perfect Game. In fact, its not even Housemarques best game, that title still belongs to dead nation
Well said Doctor Jones, you put him back in his place without coming across as infantile or derogatory.
Ares, you could learn a thing or two from an 8 year old with a Nintendo by the sounds of, chill out.
MAG 2 would also be most welcome, as would a new motorstorm game which is possible as Drive Club development will be finishing up soon.
I'm most looking forward to them giving us DNLA, external HD and MP3 comparability so it can become the media hub the PS3 became.
Try reading your comment again and you'll see what hicken was talking about.
I take it it's a wireless n router you have? What's the WiFi signal like in the room with the PS4, and I'm going to assume the PS4 is connected to your router via WiFi too.
Any loss of the WiFi signal due to walls in the way will be doubled if both devices are connected wirelessly, not much I could suggest other than run a wired network or relocate the router.
There was a programme on ITV (rival British tv corporation) which was discussing why so many 3 & 4 year olds have tablets and mobile phones for entertainment. That's far more disturbing
Got mine delivered about 2 hours ago, not long in from work and my PS4 is struggling to connect to PSN. I so wanna download resogun
Anyone else having connection issues?
LOL@nfl - It could be worse, you could have an X Bone
No it didn't, the timeframe seemed very much in keeping with Sony's original plan for the PS3.
If anything, they actually got in there a bit earlier than most thought, to ensure MS never benefited from a one year head start like last gen.
Backwards compatability should be a pre requisite for any future generations, but if this gen pans out like last, I'm happy with a 6 or 7 year wait again.
As long as the PS4 gets some of the functions lacking from the PS3 (ext HD, MP3 and DNLA support)
Take 1 min and tell me what use that is to people who choose to do their gaming on consoles rather than their PC.
I hope drive club shows up in Jan, no specific date for that. I'd love to try it out through PS+, and it would be nice to see evolution studio's announcing development of a motorstorm game for PS4.
MOTORSTORM: RETURN TO THE RIFT
Good stuff, loved it on both the PS3 & Vita
The whole interface looks too cumbersome for a console, but the kinect integration and motion capture seems pretty cool.
Will be interesting to see what people come up with once its released.
