Well spotted porkChop, all the messages before yours highlight just how little attention people pay to the articles and use this site as a sounding board for their own views, whether they are on topic or not.
Even stranger in this entitled generation are the people expecting to get Driveclub VR for free just because they purchased the original game.
So the answer to the question is no, I'm not expecting updates for any of my previously bought games. I...
Pacific Rift is still one of the best racing games on PS3. I'd love a new Motorstorm game
@Vitology - everybody gauges success on different aspects. The PS3 gave me so much as a console and blu ray player all for £425 on launch day and I spent most of my time enjoying Motorstorm and Resistance Fall of Man. That kept me going until COD:MW, uncharted and LBP etc.
The PS2 had a similar dearth of games at launch, most consoles do, so even taking on board your points, I was more than happy with the PS3 launch. It was a huge step up from my PS2.
I'm not sure what you're meaning. How did Sony drop driveclub?
Whilst I understand the flavour of the competition drives better progress argument, I think we need to move away from the rhetoric that the PS3 was a bad console or a black mark in Sony's past console history. I loved my PS3 from day one and it only got better over time.
Hell, it even still to this day can do things my PS4 can't.
Indeed, now nip back and try correcting the post by TwoForce.
Trying to read his comments gave me a sore head lol
Bloody hell kingthrash, pots and kettles lol
Yes, that's one part of the issue, but your take on it completely misses the most important link in the chain which lunatic0001 made a few posts before yours.
The price is essentially dictated by the demand for it. If we as consumers choose not to pay for it, do you think these services would disappear?
Sony and MS both need these services (for content delivery, updating security flaws in firmware, making profit) far more then any one of us gamers.
...
He was just exercising his right to be a complete douchebag tbh.
@ starchild - No it does not. I couldn't get the experience just by buying the Vive. I'd need another few hundred quid upgrading my PC.
You can't use the argument on one but not the other. The majority of PC users would require an upgrade (at least a better graphics card) to run vive or oculus.
It has to be said though, well worth the price. I got the season pass when it was discounted and I'm just about to finish 100% on all the trophies. Think I can have a little break from him now though and pick up the arkham collection when that falls in price a bit.
One of the best game trilogies I've ever played (I'm sure I'll get a few disagrees on that statement lol)
Why don't you take off the fanboy goggles (actually it's more a blindfold than goggles) and try listening to what Milo is trying to say.
I'll bet you any money that the multi-player component of UC4 will release in the future as a free download (like other UC multi-player parts have). Then his argument starts to become clearer.
Just at this moment, the only way to play it is by purchasing the full game, but that WILL change.
To be fair, that's the con of having a download cap, not of having the choice of an extra download on a different platform.
Why not worth it because of GTA V?
I could see the argument if you've bought and played the games before, but all three games have a great story and chasing vigilantes was never as sweet as it was in vice city.
I wouldn't advocate shelling out full price for it (having owned the originals) but I'll still be keeping an eye on PS Store discounts for it.
If it still plays all games and Blu Ray's then why are you getting your knickers in a twist. Your suffering from a "grass is always greener on the other side" syndrome.
Grow up ffs
I thought the devs deserved something extra seeing as I picked it up free through PS+ so got all the DLC.
My DeLorean might also be the best £1.50 I've spent in the PS Store
Fantastic game
"I told myself I'd never buy an xbox while his there.. Which is testament to phil and the great job I think his doing that I bought one"
More a testament to how paper thin your principles are if you're being completely honest.
That's a fantastic attitude Zero and so refreshing to see.
Likewise, I'm hoping killzone comes to PS+ at some point just to boost the number of players online across all modes.
I loved killzone but still need to get my platinum and if friends get it for free when I already have it then I'm still getting something out of it.
Great month for PS+ too.
It might not be on my lists of games to look out for but it's great seeing the PS3 continuing to receive such support.
Gamingbolt are barely even a poor man's Smash Hits (dodgy UK pop magazine).
I was going to add "all style, no substance" but they aren't even stylish when pedaling their rubbish.
