That comment would be valid if he was talking about continuing manufacture of the original x box, but he was highlighting MS supporting the platform.
But they didn't, they dropped it to concentrate on the 360 leaving buyers with a perfectly good hardware with no games coming out for it.
6 month ban from PSN or X Box live would be a just punishment. It really is a low pathetic practice
Quite possibly one of the most selfish, blinkered views I've ever seen posted on this site. It's pathetic selfish values like this that are at the root of all the world's problems. Who cares that half the population of the planet won't be having a full meal tonight, as long as I'm alright Jack.
Going by your name, you've been getting taken advantage of all your life by someone you love and who should know better. Now you carry that same line of thinki...
Next time you feel like just saying, say it quietly to yourself, see if it tastes as salty as it comes across to others
The first uncharted game never had multiplayer and was well worth the asking price for the same length of campaign. If the game plays as good as it looks, I'll be happy with that.
The only point I think you have valid is the original RRP. It's closer to £60 in the UK, and that's too high for ANY game, not just this one (and that's before any DLC)
You're not the only one Monkey, the quality of games and efforts by Sony on delivering value through PS+ must have a detrimental effect on game sales
@Mr Pumblechook I think in this instance your guilty of reading between the lines and making up something to have issues with.
I think you could do with looking up the meanings of "humbled", "delivering", "oxymoron" and "contradictory".
Leave the detective work for others
Main differences being the available library of songs and the user interface is much better with spotify.
Here's hoping for a demo before it releases too. We definitely need more demos or even the 1 hour trial that ps3 games had. I'd like to try before I buy with this one.
Maybe its not so much what the devs can do as what we could do as gamers and end users. Refer to gangsta reds point above about us holding them to task more about it.
If publishers were forced to recall games and do another run of disks or offer refunds, and took a dent in profits, they wouldn't be as keen to put release dates ahead of quality control as a priority.
Drive club is peculiar in this regard as they changed the release date and developed the game for a further year (even if it was right back to the drawing board).
But yes, there should be better protection for the consumer in this regard. A game with multiple glitches, or performance issues such as huge frame rate drops should be returnable, no questions asked. Not quite sure the sale of goods act or equivalent laws do this currently. Some of the issues are subjective and ann...
That may well be the worst stutter in the world lol
I jest of course
Well said Doug. The best golf games on the PlayStation are the Everybody's Golf series (Hot Shots Golf). Very cartoony bright colourful graphics, but a whole lot more fun than the more realistic counterparts.
Aaaaawwwww c'mon, 6 disagrees for the funniest comment on N4G this week. Here, have a bubble Ryan, looks like you need em.
Some trolls have a sense of humour too you know.
Don't feed the troll DirtyPimp. Nobody mentioned a thing about MS forcing anything on anyone so his whole post was an agenda wrapped up in fanboy talk.
Say what you want about how the X bone compares against PS4 specs, but it a great value bundle and shows good aggressive marketing from MS.
Well said Gamble. It's a human trait to take your eyes off what you get, or what you've already got as your focus is entirely on what's missing or what you should have got.
@Ghost - maybe you should look harder. English_learner complained that Sony hadn't already implemented friends notifications. Which in turn sparked a debate on wether they were good or bad (split opinions on that too)
So in summary, Gambles observation was entirely correct,...
@Volkama - Maybe it needs a firmware update lol
Looks like JoGan is fending off a lynch mob, and all for stating some facts.
He didn't make the rules. He's not advocating them either (his very first post states the ability to change you PSN ID would be a good thing), he's just telling you how it is under the current terms and conditions.
His analogy with the tattoo isn't far off either. I think too much has been read into his comment
SirDjss this point was a pile of tosh the first time you posted it.
Repeating it verbatim just makes you look dumb.
£150 of games for £40 (rented or not) is a good deal in anybody's eyes. Just cos your head is stuck up your ass makes it more difficult for you to see it.
Watch yourself Heavy, with "out of the box thinking" combined with that amount of common sense, you might get head hunted.
Patcher, watch out!
