I would NEVER buy it no matter how many games they get. I HATE EA!
Gears of War is the Best Game Ever!!!
Would be happy if it was just new levels, but would only like one minor change. The availabilty to crawl to safety when injured on the floor.

HOME is a great idea! But is it too great?? I mean, people will be gettind addicted to HOME and will be on it all the time. Will it interfere with their gaming time tho? If it does, that means less games sold and less profit for Sony and the developers.

Yes Resistance is popular in Europe, but because it was bundled in! The fact that the game is set in Europe also helps. But you are overestimating it’s potential. It might sell well in Europe, but it can’t beat Gears of War if it’s not popular in America since we sell tons more games! That’s why we are the biggest market, while Europe’s still third. Facts are Facts!
I'm not a fanboy, I just realize when a game is better then another. And Gears is clearly better then Resistance.. End of Story. The sales numbers show it, and the Review scores showed it.
Gears did not have to be bundled to inflate sales numbers by having to be bundled. As Resistance numbers were clearly inflated by them bundling it in Europe and then counting them as copies sold. LOL If it wasn't for the simple fact, Resistance wouldn't even have been a discussion.

I don't see what some people seen in this game. I mean it was okay but....nothing special. Looking forward to Killzones possibility more.
Although "HOME" seems like a good idea, could it actually turn out to be TOO GOOD??? I mean, if people get addicted to Home, why would they need to go out and buy a real game? This in turn can hurt Sony's profit margin. More systems sold but less games? i don't think Sony would like that too much!

First of all, I must say GEARS of WAR is the Greatest Game EVER!!! lol
And I only care for one change, being as minor as it might seem. When I got shot down to my knees near death, I would like to be able to crawl away from danger, as slow as it may be. At least to clear myself from danger till my teammate comes to revive me. Just give me HOPE of Survivng! That's all I'm asking for!
The control plays a big part of the gaming experience, being consciously or sub-consciously. That is part of why a game like Devils May Cry will get higher scores on a PS3, since gamers are already usto the Sony control. It feels natural to them.
But to each his own!
I'm talking about why they get better reviews. You're friends might not care, but game reviewers do!
the 360 control has a lot to do with it. Let's face it, the majority of people perfer the 360 control now over PS3's control. It's just more user friendly and that's a big part of the gaming experience.

The reason no one talks about the PS3 is because it will not have the mass market appeal that the PS2 had. Fact is that the cheaper unit has always been able to penetrate the market easier. And the PS3 will never be able to beat the 360 in price. and the 360 is now seen as more of a social machine with games like Halo and Madden then the PS3 is.

But I can honestly say I only use my PS3 as a Blu-Ray Player in my bedroom. My 360 is in the living room because whenever my friends come over they only want to play sports games or Halo. I love my PS3 but feel it's more for personal use then the 360 or Wii.
Planning on picking up Killzone for the PS3 tho, and..... that's about it.
Cause we all know how stupid your comment is. EA bought the NFL license because 2K was quickly catching up to Madden in sales. And 2K was a WAY better product then Madden. Madden pretty much sucks as a football game and is the reason me and my friends have not gotten a game since. We continue to play 2K5 with an updated roster instead.
On another note, anybody know when EA's license runs out with the NFL.
The 360 is inching towards that magical $200 price point. That's when all the mass market comes.
