But I just want one thing in Gears 2. The ability to crawl away to safety when injured. I hate being sniped from a distance then not being able to move to safety till a teamate comes to save me.

I'm pretty nuetral to both systems but it's kinda obvious it's gonna sell more on the 360. Reason being the 360 has a bigger install base and you can get more of the game thru the extra features. Don't take that Bet, all analysis agree you will lose.
Since GTA is gonna be awesome online.... I think I'm picking it up on my 360 instead. Reason being that with my PS3 it is more difficult to find people online, and if they are they NEVER have mics!!! I need to communicate with my teamates! (I'll mute all the dumb people tho!)

Like I pointed out in my previous statement; it is okay for you and me, hardcore gamers and gizmo fans in general. But I'm talking about the mass market, the people who don't care about the details. Same people who still don't own flat screens. That would be more then 70% of the people.
It's a great value at $400 but a value to who? Not to them. All they see is $400!!! That is like a whole weeks paycheck to them. Not a impulse buy to say the least.
Price is okay??? Dude, I don't know where you live because $400 is still way to much for the average consumer. Especially in a time of a recession. It might be okay for you and me as hardcore gamers but not to a person earning like $10 per hour.
They need to get near $200....half of what it is now. And Yes, it is a good value for what you get. But it's not a necessity either.

The 360 has yet to hit the magical $200 - $250 price point where all the mass market comes in at. Right now they are still catering to more of a hardcore gamer, but there is still a HUGE market of price savy people looking to jump into the next generation.

I said calling a game a piece of Craap just because it's from a competing system, is not being a true gamer. It's obvious to anyone that Halo is ATLEAST "Good."
I personally know tons of people who have switched from a PS3 to a Xbox 360. Pricepoint and Halo were their main reason. But I expect GTA to sell more on the 360 for a couple of reasons.
1. Install Base
It's a fact that 360 has tons more systems currently on the market then the PS3. And with the majority being here in the U.S., you know us Americans love our violent games!!
2. Price
This is a mass market game so it will be attracting the mass ma...
Agreed... How is this dropping the price "So fast." In reality, this is the first true price drop as all others have really been system modifications. And it has been over 2 years already.
If anybody has been dropping the price to stay competitive it's Sony. You all recall the price drop in Japan even before the system came out! LOL
But in all, MS had played the business model as all other systems have done before. Lower prices to increase sales.
