As a 360 owner I was hesitant to buy a HD-DVD player before because it seemed that Blu-Ray had all the momentum and I would end up with a dead format. Now ever since this new deal I am confident in my purchase and have been seeking a HD-DVD drive. Only problem is, there sold out everywhere!!!! Now I can feel confident in my investment!!!

They just announced the Halo 360 edition at $300 in September at E3. They will probably wait till this whole defective issue smooth down a little bit more before bringing it to the masses.

But don't kid yourself, we are not even close to reaching Pixar graphics. We have to wait till next generation to get to the level. Game looks top notch, probably best out there in this genre, but Pixar....No.

Anybody expecting this to be the final build of Killzone is crazy. Even as a Xbox fan I must admit that I expect the graphics on this game to look on par with Halo or better. Sony has so much riding on this game that anything less would be suicide.

Price cuts will help the immediate numbers...BUT.....you are are only successful if you can build consistancy. Sony has proven that they can't do this. This is afterall the same scenerio there were in with the 20 gig and 60 gig model.
Give it a month and number will DROP once again.

We are also talking about hardware sales such as Zunes to connect to the 360, the upcoming Handheld, and most importantly the connectivity of MS heart and sole…...
Kudos for MicroSoft for doing the right thing!!! Finding fault with oneself and aggresivily fixing the problem has always proved to build strong customer support. It shows that they are willing to back up their products and builds confidence by consumers.
This only builds my support in MS and the 360!!!!!
It's a Panasonic and it works freakin awsome!!! I'll be buying one of these cheap HD-DVD players because I know three years from know I'll be able to buy a better quality one for the same price.
This will hold me over till then!
