North America is by far the biggest market, especially for this game. So if it does huge numbers in the U.S. like it's expected to, then this seems very likely.

I personally know like 8 friends who will be buying consoles for GTA IV. They're only casual gamers so it took GTA for them to finally give in. I think 6 are going with the 360 due to it's cheaper price while the other two will be picking up the PS3 due to brand loyalty.
But they can't go wrong with either or....GTA IV is gonna ROCK!!!
Money that is very well spent for a FAR superior online experience!
I'll be playing online with my friends while you'll be stuck trying to find friends and then when you do, you won't be able to communicate with them because no one has Mics on the PS3!!!
Don't get me wrong, I love my PS3 but the Live experience is head and shoulders above the PSN network.

I mean, why buy a movie when you can have it at your fingertips whenever you want it at a click of a button. When I usto buy movies, I would pay $20 to watch it once and then it sat in my movie collection, never to be watched again. That's why I haven't bought a movie in over 2 years. (Except the Free Bluy-Ray movies I got when I bought my PS3 if that counts.)
Why are only PC gamers the lucky ones here. Save us console gamers and can our version as well. Madden sucks!!!! bring back 2k!!!
Thank you for given some real feedback, unlike some others on this site. But I respect your opinion, it isn't something new as others have def done it before. But that still doesn't make it right; no matter what company does it.
But Sony did promise it was all included in the box when it first launched. They used that tag in justifing the large price tag. I feel I was lied too. Will it stop me from enjoying my PS3...No, I'm still going to reluctantly buy the new controls...
First of all, I'm talking about my PS3 not my 360. Going into my purchase of my 360 I already knew I would need additional purchases.
I bought my PS3 at launch. At that time I paid over $600 believing what Sony told me. That it was all included in the box! But now I gotta go and replace all my freakin contols (4) because they don't give me the full experience!
I'm feeling cheated, and anybody who doesn't see that is a pure fanboy. I mean, I love my PS3 but y...
And so do like a billion of my friends. It's like Crack to us all....can't stop playing no matter how many other games we buy. Sometimes I find myself playing all night only to have to stop because it's almost 8AM when I gotta get to work! LOL

I think MGS, Resistance and MotorStorm 2 will do GREAT. Still up in the air about Killzone and Haze.
But Little Big Planet....think it's gonna be a Major flop! Don't get me wrong, I love that they are trying to be so creative and applaud them for it. But like he said, it's on the wrong console. If it was on Wii it would sell Millions upon millions. But the PS3 caters to a more hardcore market who can spend $500 on a console. How many kids do you think owna PS3? Not many....
