“Lol that falls under the heading of pay to win. When I say pay to win, I don't literally mean you pay for armor that makes you invincible and a gun that one shots everyone. I mean that spending money affects gameplay.”
Something funny?
Are you okay?
Imo it does not fall under pay to win in this instance as you are comparing paying to have more armour, more pvp perks (UAV) on a permanent basis. Absolutely different from paying to start off wi...
I hate how this has now become a selling point for games nowadays when it should be the norm.
Looks sensational.
Didn’t really play much of XV, but can’t wait to get into this one.
I enjoy Hunt: Showdown BUT I’m not sure what characters you can buy that allow you to say, spawn in with more armour every time such as is the case here.
I know Cain was criticised for blending into the environment too much and as a result they reworked the character model twice.
EFT does have higher tiers which reward more resources and such, and it’s not my type of game but again, they aren’t pay to win, it’s merely skipping a portion of the grind, imo....
@Surgical,
It’s not crazy at all.
Buying the games to “rectify” the problem ignores the point of paying for the subscription; however, nowhere does it guarantee that titles will remain indefinitely, so anyone complaining about either point are raising a non argument imo.
You also know, as my comment stated above, that if this was Microsoft losing a title from GP, this site and the usual suspects would be all over that in the comments. T...
It needs it BUT I don’t see any significant change away from this terrible false-rpg system designed to squeeze money from consumers via microtransactions.
DoA imo.
Why does everyone resort to passive aggressive comments and namecalling?
The fact of the matter is that both GP and PS subscription models operate on a rotational basis with titles leaving and others coming to their respective services.
Whilst GP does retain first party titles (so far) the service offered on PS with more classics is equal. Both have their pros and cons.
But let’s not kid ourselves here, if this was an article about a fi...
They also started selling P2W bundles that come with buffs for DMZ, noticed someone posting one earlier - buying the ghost bundle gives you a permanent armour vest in DMZ regardless of if you have one in your inventory or not.
It shouldn’t get a free pass at all.
Bethesda games are known to be buggy and inconsistent so I can almost guarantee that the 30fps will also come with frame drops aplenty.
They usually get a free pass because the games are otherwise good. Just look at the horse armour in Oblivion on Xbox, ridiculed? Sure, but the game was still a well selling success. Performance of Skyrim on PS3 was ridiculous, still ended up being a well selling success.
Literally looking at my PS5 retail box now.
Top right corner.
I feel the game is an 8/10 imo for the amount of fun I get with it, though that also takes into account that it was included on PS Plus this month.
Definitely a better experience in co-op and I’m excited to see what they do with the title in the near future. It has lots of solid potential.
I don’t typically like games with the majority of levels being user generated levels or with procedural generation but there’s something about this, the combat just fee...
I can see where they were coming from with a middle of the road console on a budget BUT they probably should’ve just focused on that streaming console they had in the works instead because the S is severely holding the SX back.
But what I don’t understand is how Sony is able to have games like God of War, Spider-Man, etc look and run decent on LAST GEN machines when Microsoft can’t get a current gen S up to standard.
30fps?
Seriously?
This entire gen has been disappointing on performance.
8k 120hz printed on PS5 boxes & 4k 120hz printed on SX.
If anything though, Xbox needs a win and they need it fast.
Redfall looks mediocre and in my opinion, won’t be *that* win, but at least try? There is no way they shouldn’t be able to get 60fps on tHe WoRlD’s MoSt PoWeRfUl CoNsOlE.
Might be fun for a few weeks but will most likely die a quick death. Such a shame that iconic franchises are being taken in this direction.
The multiplayer space is so oversaturated at present with heavy hitters like COD, Fortnite, FIFA, and dare I say it? Battlefield with its recent resurgence.
Games like this typically attract a small audience, especially since it’s paid, but with such a stacked year with the likes of Diablo, Street Fighter, Final Fanta...
Agreed, playing user created content was fun but making levels was a chore and I never ended up making any as a result.
LBP was amazing.
Let’s be honest, if this was a Microsoft studio, the sentiment would be different.
13 years between games isn’t great and if this was a Microsoft studio, the majority of the comments would be jumping all over the fact it took 13 years and was now ending live support.
But the work MM do put out is typically fantastic.
Shame it’s losing support, almost picked this up again digitally last week after selling my physical copy some time ago.
Nothing he could have done with Infinite.
It was fundamentally flawed and is currently dying a slow, drawn out death.
Can’t believe it’s still lacking features that were promised at launch, and that’s WITH a delay! They’re only onto the third season of content after a year and a half as well? Game is dreadful. I’ve played a few matches and whilst the gunplay is great, the game only holds my attention for that long…a few matches & then I’m done until t...
The collectors edition is already announced, titled the ‘Mad Gear Box’ it has two figures, an art book, steelbook, ultimate pass, stickers & dioramas iirc.
Priced at £249.99.
This stick is coming in at £229.99 but it would’ve made for a great pairing with the game.
Lol.
Disgusting.
I really thought MW2 was the change we needed but around halfway through season one, those rose tinted glasses fell off and it’s just a shell of a game.
The campaign was great, albeit very short, but the ongoing support has been questionable at best with reused characters from Warzone 1.0 being sold again in the last battle pass.
$29.99 for a battle pass is disgusting and as soon as people give in to this, the...
I understand your comment but let’s not pretend Sony and others don’t delay games either.
Some recent examples:
-Final Fantasy XVI pushed back 6 months
-Forspoken
-God of War: Ragnarok
-Tchia
Just a few off the top of my head. & yes, delays can be good for the end product but disappointing for gamers, particularly those on a platform with more losses than wins.
Whilst Xbox does appear t...
