Deluxe physical is still in stock anywhere I’ve looked but it’s definitely not worth the extra £45 for..a map and a steelbook.
Definitely an excellent selling point and a nice wee perk too.
Take the Diablo 4 betas for example, no progress saved so people had to play act one three times in total before the game launched causing some burn out. Recent article came up about how the majority of players haven’t done the campaign and that’s definitely a contributing factor given that it’s not a ridiculously long campaign by any means.

That’s why I said “if that’s what you were going off of” as I have thought in the past that some of my mates have ordered games when it turns out they just played a beta or demo.

A collectors edition is exactly that. Collectible.
“Here’s my collectors edition” and it’s a slip of paper with a 12 digit code bundled with a statue. At that point it’s just lazy, sell the statue on its own.
People just like to spread FUD if it’s not a game they will enjoy.
The F13 issue was a very unique set of circumstances. Furthermore the game still holds a small, yet dedicated playerbase on all platforms despite the licensing issues.
Incorrect, it has been a failure because Activision has NOT listened to the community.
The amount of requested changes and balancing that went ignored in favour of them plugging enhanced battlepasses and the false promises of no dumb skins but here we are: bunnies, Santa Claus, Demonic armour, you name it. Cod is a joke now.
