Sony and MS tied this gen according to VGChartz 1% difference in market share and Nintendo won.
But that would also mean more working PS3s than 360s, just from my own experience, I bought 2 360s (one RROD'd) and only one PS3.
Yeah, I know, I may be overly optimistic on the price and I agree, I'd very much love to hear news about BC. Some upscaling would be very nice.
The acronym for that might not sound great though, "Hey let play WUES",
Nintendo may not want to associate their new system with wusses, although Wii is just another name for pee so who knows.
No, I just don't think those games represented gaming perfection or even greatness. Kinect games should be held to the same standard as everything else.
The social functions look great, those actors were terrible...Now I can't wait to see what the price is, if it's $300 or less I'd be pretty interested.
Crysis 1 still stand up well today, it's probably better than most current popular FPS campaigns.
I really wish more FPS games were like Crysis 1 instead of COD.
I prefer trophies to points because they better reflect the difficulty of the achievement.
Ever since Joystiq gave Kinect games "The Gunstringer" and "Child of Eden" both 100% review scores I've felt the site lacked credibility and stopped visiting.
Perfect, it's just half and hour after Mad Men.
I've been hearing about Agent since before PS3 launched.
Diver, I wish I could give you two bubbles because that was both funny and well said.
Looks good but I still need analogs for aiming and movement.
I think in this age of ballooning development costs console makers should make their platforms as easy as possible to develop for. I don't want devs spending all their time trying to get games running properly, I rather they spend it on content, polish and gameplay refinement.
I blame Sony or more specifically Ken Kutaragi. PS3 came out a year later, all of its multiplats should have looked and ran better not struggle to be equal. Devs should have to spend extra time money to achieve parity.
It was a dumb move making it more complicated to develop for than necessary. The only good thing about it is that Sony learned their lesson.
People pay for Xbox Live so MS can pay for timed-exclusives that people otherwise would have had had they not paid for xbox Live the only difference is that PC and PS3 gamers would have gotten the content at the same time.
I pay for Live but I understand that all the "exclusives" are just MS throwing their weight around and depriving other gamers of content. Live doesn't fund any new DLC/content, it simply pays to delay others platform's release date which ...
Once I get past my hate for Crytek I must admit that Crysis 1 was an amazing FPS that still stands up surprisingly well today...in fact, it's probably better than a lot of SP FPS campaigns today.
I just hope it doesn't kill Gears 3s online community. Maybe it will be like ODST and add to the online community.
I was just informed that the game takes place before she becomes the kicking ass and taking names Laura, so you could be right or it could just be a design decision to emphasize her transformation.
I agree, and you do make a good point as well, simple screen shots aren't necessarily completely telling of the characters general disposition.
@ dragon82: Oh, I didn't know that. Now it makes sense, thanks for the info man.
YYLOD was above the typical 5% (I think 10-15%) but RROD was massive, Continuing from my own experience 4 out of 5 of my friends 360s broke (RROD/ bad DVD drive) and every time I took my 360 to Purolator to ship it to MS the people working there even said they got about a dozen broken 360s a week.
The launch consoles were horrendous and even later consoles up until the 360 slim released were unacceptably fail prone.
RROD was so much worse than YYLOD, and it w...
