Rockstar games tend to run a bit better on 360 but if they're same this time, I may just have to exchange my pre-order for the PS3 version.

both are important imo. More power also means better AI, physics, more players, larger maps and generally greater immersion. Also, DVDs have reached there storage peak.
Gears 1 set up the series for a great storyline - it had an interesting world, characters and overarching crisis with the a great mix of seriousness and silliness, but it all went down hill from there and entirely lost focus.
Gears 1 started that feeling of hopeless desperation, then Gears 2 and more so 3 just failed to impress the fact that humanity was on the brink of extinction and replaced it with bad jokes and trivial missions.

I love the Gears series but Gears 3 totally botched the story imo, it became silly and shallow. I don't think professional writers are necessarily the best game story tellers.
I don't think it is the worst though, but definitely one of the biggest disappointments Gears 1 set-up a very interesting world and storyline.

MW2 can't train you for real life shooting at all, it's not a sim, that's forsure.
Stop buying games full price before they come out and you'll have a lot more games. Just buy on sale or wait 4-6 months on everything so you'll always be backlogged, meaning you'll always have AAA to play, just not the most current AAA. Trust me, it amount to more AAA for the same money.

No, if it COMPLETES the game like Street Fighter costumes/character, AC memories, any map pack within the first 4 months of release, weapons, skins, characters, etc.

Every year some dev says they've pushed the consoles to the limit, then the next year they say, "we're REALLY pushed them to the limit".

Well I bought two 360s and a PS3 this gen and all the previous gens back to NES and Masterdrive, I bought at least 2 consoles.
Next-gen I'm buying one system and building a gaming PC because 95% of games are multiplat and 99% of the best games are multiplat so there's no point in owning them all anymore.
