MS is the cheapest Huge Corporation I've ever encountered. The only thing that kept me on 360 was that my love of games outweighed my complete dissatisfaction with MS. 360 had better looking multiplats and better exclusives as recently as 3 years ago.
This gen PS4 looks to destroy them in both regards so there's nothing to stem gamer frustration.
MS is cheap to the point of stupidity. Little things like making it extra-difficult to cancel Live sub...
PS4 first
One for the Halo games when it drops in price to $200 4-5 years from now.
Wish MS still released Halo games on PC.
It's not that it's so bad, it's that it's so much worse than it could have been.
Kinect in every box comes at the expense of hardware power. And MS's major focus is ancient Legacy TV watching!?
MS became a major gaming contender with 360 because it had the best exclusives at the time (Gears, Mass Effect, Fable, Halo, Bioshock) and better looking multiplats. Now Sony has the better exclusives, more of them, MS sold Bungie, Fable is junk...
$200 to play Ghosts 6 hr SP campaign.
I'm just not comfortable with a camera staring at me whenever I'm in the living room, listening to every thing I say all day.
MS is the same company that made you jump through hoops just to cancel an Xbox Live subscription (had to actually call in!), can't imagine what they'll make you do to not be data mined.
....Not to mention MS bragging about all the thousands of data servers they now have, more than all of them in the world in 1999. Look...
I'll get one a when it drops to $200 after 4 years to play Halo.
I'm unhappy MS chose Kinect in every box over more hardware power.
W.T.F.
:O
Wow, PS4 being 50% more powerful is actually fairly substantial.
Kinda like my sentiments towards the Wii U tabpad, I wish MS spent the hardware cost money used to include Kinect in every box on more raw hardware power.
So disappointing they sacrificed Xbox's hardware power in order to include Kinect in every box. I guess manufacturing cost have to be trimmed somewhere, shame it's the place that directly affects how games look/run.
MS refuses to have the courage to do anything new, instead they try and redefine the pre-existing.
We've seen it with phones and tablets and now with Xbox there biggest selling point so far revealed is the ability to quickly change between, TV, Movies, Games, and Music with your hands, wooOO.
I can already do all of that with a single button press on my TV remote. It's called changing the input from HDMI 1 to HDMI2 or PC, etc.
Nothin...
Xbox:
Pay to play multiplayer
Worse graphics/running games
Corporate controlled Camera that's always on in my house (there goes fapping in the living room)
Said camera required for system to even work
No headset in every box
non-gaming focus
best non-gaming features likely benefit USA only
Unable to lend games to family/friends without them paying
Required internet connection to use system
Subscriptio...
No that's stupid, they only just begun.
So far I'll be supporting PS4 though.
Kinect must be plugged in for it to function!? So I someone accidentally knocks down the Kinect and breaks it or it doesn't function for whatever reason (defective or userbased), my technically working Xbox is completely unplayable.
If Sony is pushing devs for 1080p/60FPS I hope if that can't be maintained that they opt for 60FPS instead of 1080p if possible.
They're just mad that the press didn't pander to them and say it's the best thing since sliced bread like they did with Kinect 1. Don't forget you bought your positive reviews last time MS with the 500 million marketing budget.
MS is blaming the media for being objectively critical.
I think he means graphics and performance.
Or doom it.
Just think of the additional manufacturing costs MS could have put towards hardware power if they didn't include Kinect in every box.
Sure it's a cool TV remote, but it still won't work well for games and I can switch between TV and games, movies etc. by a simply switching TV inputs. One button press is actually easier.
After you get past the novelty, all that fast switching doesn't really add much to how we int...
Honestly, I'm just very disappointed.
This is the funniest one.
