I'm very interested on their PSN pricing stance, obviously they'll have a Plus version for a charge but will they continue to offer free basic online MP is my biggest question.
I had 4 refurbs there must be millions of early consoles that they disposed of (can't give a person an HDMI less refurb, or one with the launch silver panels).
And then there are all the ones that eventually broke out of warranty. My last refurb lasted 14 months, 2 months out of warranty.
Every friend of mine with a 360 had their refurb eventually break out of warranty, then bought a PS3. Yes, every person I know who had a 360 had their 360 break, one...
Total 360 and PS3 sales may be neck and neck but the amount of working PS3s must eclipse 360s. Not that it shows in game sales though.
I'm Canadian, I would love to see a break down of that. It seems here very few people have 360 and most have PS3s unlike the US.
I'd be interested in seeing whether Canada's taste resembles the US or Europe more where they prefer PS3.
MS better impress, I'm sick of there rip-off lack of games focus BS. They got away with it this gen because they had the best exclusives and best looking multiplats for the majority of the gen. Now they gave all that up.
Try selling overpriced everything without the games to back it up.
That makes sense. I only buy new but often trade in when doing so. If I couldn't trade in games I'd buy 4-5 less games a year or simply wait longer for games to drop in price (instead of splurging $60 near launch) and build a back log of cheap games.
I only rarely pay a full $60 out of pocket for a game, most of the time I trade something in - regardless of reviews, demos, etc. anytime you buy a game there's a chance you just won't like it that much, or you...
Sure MS will kill it with bogus CGI targets and false promises per usual.
All media flash, no substance. I'm playing the console with the best and best looking/running games. I know MS thinks I'm useless as a consumer because I'm a core gamer despite people like me supporting Xbox and 360 in the early days but oh well.
Unless MS has some gaming Aces up it's sleeve (including more power and less Kinect) I'll play the better games on th...
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I have to agree with Patcher, I only buy new games but often trade in games to partially fund new purchases. Without that option, I will buy about 4-5 less games a year or wait for even greater price drops before buying to create a back log of cheap games instead of being an earlier adopter like I have been this gen.
Although now, most games already feel last gen and I feel don't warrant $60.
Well MS taxed online MP an know one asked to get paid then, this is standard MS Entertainment Division practice. But the devs are right, they're more entitled to the tax than MS is, they made the game.
I never buy used games but I frequently trade in games to get new ones. Without that ability ill end up buying 4-5 less new games a year.
How many games and how much BS CGI.
Square has published a lot of great games this generation. It's a shame they weren't more profitable.
Biggest revolution in gaming would be somehow drastically reducing the cost of making games.
A lot more risks will be taken if companies didn't have to bet the bank on just a few titles.
Xbox doesn't need anyone. NDP #1 every month!
Sarcasm aside, I understand MS's arrogance, after RROD, ridiculously priced proprietary peripherals, blatant Kinect functionality lies, losing all exclusives, casual focus, paying millions for timed exclusives that added nothing new to the industry and only restricted other gamers from having content that would have otherwise existed anyways, and pay to play online MP people still supported them.
How coul...

Sure sure, Xbox doesn't need anyone. It has all the ignorant silly consumers locked. It can't do wrong. NDP #1 every month!

I don't know a gamer out there that would prefer voice/motion controls over better graphics/performance.
The hardware cost of Kinect in ever box is hardware power plain and simple. It's a bad trade off.
I still won't be comfortable with a camera staring at me all the time. I'm not even comfy with a PS eye looking at me so I unplug it. Paranoid yes, but corps are data mongers.
Really, I don't care about Kinect functionality at all. It's a cool console remote but I much rather they spent the hardware cost money on better hardware like GPU, CPU, or RAM.
If they sacrificed power to include an Oculus Rift in every box that would have been a di...
I doubt xbone is doomed to fail, but it may not as sell as well as 360.
Maybe it will sell better. No idea. I know I'm getting PS4 for the better looking/running games and several exclusives.
I don't care about the PS4 camera at all. I just want the console and controller.
