It's about the optimal number of players for the map size really. Too many and it's a cluster floor, too few and you running around to much with no action.
I'm sure Dice could put 300 players on PC but then the game would suffer.
$400 and it will sell crazy.
People I've talked to who are average gamers( that play games daily but its always their fav sports and or FPS game online) and don't really follow the industry want a PS4 but still think it will be $600 at launch ala PS3. They all say, "I'll get a PS4 when it drops to $400".
On a side note, the average gamer is what will kill this industry, they buy the exact same games each year (sports and FPS) and logs ...
Mark my words, COD won't be the biggest game again this gen. Just give it a few years.
The most popular series in one gen is never the most popular series in the next.
Last gen it was all about GTA and Gran Turismo
The gen before Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo and Tomb Raider
This gen COD and Guitar Hero (already dead)
The new gen is probably a game we never heard of yet..or Battlefield
I'm definitely getting PS4 first but ill eventually get X-1 when it's around 200-250 dollars. I kind of hate MS business practices and think they've f'd up rogally since Kinect came out but I love Halo games and I've always had both consoles since Sega Master Sytem and NES days.
Last gen I bought 360 first, then PS3 after my 360 broke (5 times actually). I ended up getting a 360 Slim later on (mass effect game saves, gears, etc.) but PS3 has been my main...
I would by a true next-gen version of metroid day 1 for PS4/PC..
I'd just love to see a graphically next gen Nintendo game. It's been years since Nintendo wowed. Most of the time it's like "for last-gen hardware, it doesn't look so bad".
Wow, that indeed looks very next-gen. After seeing COD I wasnt sure how much consoles would improve on the graphics but clearly this build shows that it will be substantial.
I hope it's utilized to harness PS4s extra power over One.
But if your Kinect breaks by user action or manufacturing defect then your technically working One won't work.
Even if One is like most electronics with an approx 5% failure rate, both the console and Kinect will have that rate, increasing the probability of your console not working.
How much would it suck if 3 years down the road you get a brand new Halo game come home, and your kid, cleaning lady, dog, etc. knocked down your Kinect and broke it, or i...
Nintendo will likely be last place this gen imo - the Wii casuals moved on to free or cheap games on their phones/tablets. E3 will finally show some real Nintendo AAAs but that will probably translate into GameCube like sales not 360/PS3 sales.
Ninty f'd up. The people that bought Wii don't even know what Wii U is, they thinks it's the same thing with a screen controller lol. Seriously, everyone I know with Wii has no interest in Wii U. Theyr e like I already hav...
Half of them are free and there's no point getting 5 cents back on a dollar game.
Charge $30 for all new releases and I won't care. But also reduce the price to account for the fact that half of the game is locked until you pay additional MS Gold Tax.
Come to think of it, 360 games this gen should have been cheaper than PS3s because MS makes you pay an extra fee to access online features. On iphone they give you the game free if you have to pay to ...
Besides GTA5, what's available right now is the best it will ever have. The gens over.
I am very happy I bought a PS3 after my 360 broke. MS is kinda treating 360 like it did xbox and Sony like it did PS2.
It's a shame MS was too cheap to foot the bill for more hardware power (classic MS). Looks like they didn't learn from last gen when Epic saved them from using 256 RAM instead of 512. I'd like all the mutlimedia functionality if they also were console powerhouse.
One could have been enticing if they outdid PS4 in power.
Well seeing that MS dropped support for core gamers prematurely this gen again, choosing instead to spend 100s of millions on marketing instead of AAA games (500 mill for Kinect) and sacrificed One power to include Kinect in every box, I rather go with the games-multimedia system over the service fees-TV-Kinect-Advertising.... ....games system.
I think it's pretty clear MS is clearly focused on TV, sacrificed core gaming experiences (power) to include Kinect in every box, and will charge ridiculous prices for propriety peripherals and basic online MP and apps free everywhere else or already paid for will have a MS tax to access.
I think it's clear MS dropped support for 360 core gamers prematurely this gen choosing to spend 100 of millions on marketing and timed-exclusives over developing new AAA IPs like So...
All this strong PS3 support even at the end of the gen is cementing my decision to go with Sony next-gen.
I think it's official now that Sony has the most high quality exclusives.
This guy is a broken record, every game he promises the same thing and falls so short of delivering.
What Nividia fails to recognize is that developer budgets have hit a ceiling. Sure hardware power with keep increasing but if won't be profitable for publishers to spend the money utilizing it.
I though the game was really good but I can't stand bullet sacks in games, both for the enemies and myself.
Are they sure's she not a meth addict that play WoW all day. She looks pretty methy
Yeah maybe, but the NSA will, and probably video record what your doing infrint of your TV.
