Titanfall is no halo.
SP still matters, even if people spend the majority of the time on mp. SP gives it a personality in the market.
Ps3 has really shown it has got legs.
Still competing toe and toe with the new gen.
Its real hard to believe that 3 gigs of the ram is dedicated to an OS with less functionality, customization and multitasking than a phone/tablet which uses a 1 gig only.
I love my ps4 but Sony needs to start working on that very very plain and limited OS/apps pronto. I hope success hasn't gone to their heads already and their thinking they can rest on their laurels. The ps4 OS was fine for launch but is time to update and start delivering on promises.
Its already happening, devs are giving us less for the same price or more. 2 of the biggest games so far this year are MGS and Titanfall. Ones a long demo the other is only mp.
Nothing like getting your online only pre-order home only to find out you can't play it.

Everything I've seen of the game looks great, not revolutionary but I love a story driven experience.
They don't have to apologize for anything. Gamers aren't entitled to a set release date a tall.
This doesn't seem like a game that needs multiplayer. It will probably be used for 10 minutes before people go back to their fav mp games.
techcrunch has it completely wrong, both PS4 and xone are tracking better than last gen.
He remarked on how he liked the gameplay just that it and the gameplay modes lacked depth. Only 3 modes and the the gameplay in most matches is grind with the pilot to get the titan then repeat.
He's also remarked on the precedent it sets, a sort of half game, with only 3 modes at full price. I agree that there is a disturbing trend emerging this gen, look at MGS.

It WAS probably the best contender for the crown, but exclusivity killed that chance. Now it has as much hate as love and million gamers have already told themselves that the game is nothing special and found every excuse not to like the game.
It may be fanboyish and an exercise in self-deception but it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy nonetheless.

The downfall of xbox started with Kinect and it's relentless focus on it.
So it was Mattrick afterall and his focus on Kinect and TV. Well he's really messed up. $400,000,000 of the 1 billion exclusives budget that should have been put on games was spent on exclusive NFL content.
And the revolution of TV isn't plugging one box into and other box, it's a comprehensive streaming service
I actually don't mind paying for Plus. I get way more than my money's worth in games and discounts. Already this year I've gotten more than $50 worth of great games, much more in fact.
I do mind paying for Live though, I did for 5 years and feel it was a major waste of money. Now when I look at my 360 I actually feel bad, it's weird, like I was tricked and exploited.
Is it me or does it seem like EA has been posting a loss for the last 10 years? They must be doing something for tax purposes because they sell a lot of games but are always posting losses every quarter for years on end.
Based on genre, its more like COD, BF, and maybe Halo versus Titanfall.
Destiny is doing something far more experimental and trailblazing and is a different genre of shooter.
Titanfall, as good as it may be, is still another k/d shooter at the end of the day like COD and BF which are the current most popular tittles in that genre.
Umm, Ryse shows off the tech, Titanfall certainly does not. It looks like a really nice last gen game. Other competitive shooters look a lot better.
