And several of the best games last gen were Playstation exclusives. All MS does is market their games a lot better so maybe there's more excitement around games like Halo and Gears but bigger marketing budget doesn't mean the games are better.
$400,000,000 of their "exclusives" budget was spent in the NFL. Most people outside of the US have little interest in the NFL... Just saying that's a lot of AAA games.
The should implement this in multiplayer games. Next-gen teabagging is needed.
Honestly, I'd much prefer they just lower the resolution and bring back all the fantastic effects and physics. When playing the actual game it makes the graphics much better than a sharper image with less physics, lighting, and other effects. I want the best graphics, not the crispest image, 720p can suffice.

Seriously, forget 1080p and just make games have better framerates and graphical effects. The games will look better.
PS3 and 360 could have been 1080p but games would look worse, why is everyone focused on 1080p now, it's the same thing, the gain in image sharpness is not worth the loss of other effects. In fact, better AA can make a 720p game look sharper than a 1080p one.
It is with great sadness that I say I will not buy this MGS at or around launch at full price. Even at $34.99 it's too much for a demo.

Not sure if Mario on mobile would be the big hit everyone thinks it would be. Judging from my nieces and nephews who rather play on their iPod touches or parents' ipads over their 3DS's, kids today don't care that much about mario and nintendo franchises.
They rather play a new game that is free or costs $1-$2 for maybe a day, then a new game the day after that. It's like they like games for the new experiences, not so much the games themselves.

Most Ubisoft games have cool stories, solid gameplay, and well done graphics so I'll likely pick this up on May 27th, pending reviews.

With all the choppy framerates, screen tearing, dithered shadows, and jaggy edges I would say that PS3 and 360 were definitely maxed out, they were over taxed by the end.
Although it is amazing how long they lasted.
