Get rid of Sutherland, he a terrible fit for Big Boss. Every other person that speaks in the game sounds more like a leader.
Not saying the game needs Hayter at all just that Keifer Sutherland is terrible in this role.
Sutherland has no maturity, charisma, or hardened leadership qualities in his voice. He sounds like a grunt.
Moral of the story is that phones and tablet have a drastic impact on both Nintendo's and MS business.
They should have included Sony as well.
Totally agree, I had the exact same experience.
$400 million of a 1 billion dollar exclusive content budget spent on exclusive NFL content...
All I care about is that they get rid Kiefer Sutherland (nothing personal), he is just not the right fit for big boss at all. There's nothing hardened in his voice, no charisma, no maturity, no intelligence, nothing. When Kaz and Boss are talking it sounds like even Kaz would make a better Boss.
Get the guy who voiced Big Boss in MGS4 if they don't want Hayter or someone else. Terrbile jost casting Boss as Sutherland as his voice is literally ruining the game. H...
Better late than never I suppose, what they've shown so far isn't very impressive IMO. Out of all their exclusives the only two that interest me are Halo and Quantum Break.
Really should have spent more of last gen building their exclusive library. I still remember them spending 500 mill on Kinect advertising and thinking like WTF, couldn't MS have spent even 100 million on a few exclusive games instead!?
Pretty much every article I read comparing PS4 to Xone makes me absolutely certain I bought the better console...imo
It makes it cheaper, not a better deal. PS4 is still a better deal imo. It has better games and more power and will have better multiplats all gen.
And Plus is way better than Live.
All it means is that devs will be working harder to make the xone version equal instead of getting the best out of BOTH consoles.
BF4 is a much better and deeper shooter IMO
As a person who had both Live and PSN for years I can say with absolute certainty that the PSN network isn't worse in terms of connectivity, lag, etc. the only thing MS was better at was party chat and voice communication in general but I thing that's changed with PS4.
And there are A LOT more racist, homophobic, sexists, remarks etc. and trash talking on Live. But on PSN no one talks so it's hard to say which is worse in that regard.
The perfect test market is Canada right now. Consumer tastes are very similar to the US and UK and the price of PS4 has recently increased from $400 to $450 (due to our dollar value). At $500, Xone comes with its biggest game, Titanfall, making it $20 cheaper than a PS4 with no game.
If PS4 still outsells the Xone then it's highly possible that an official price drop wouldn't help Xone sales against PS4s in similar markets.
If Sony and MS didn't...
PS3 outsold 360 at a much higher price every year it was out.
But the value of Blu-Ray was apparent, the value of Kinect remains unproven and unlikely.
I think certainly with PS3 people weren't buying enough software, but PS4 owners are definitely picking up software in droves (maybe due to the many former 360 owners though).
I'm such a huge MGS fan, everyday I debate whether I should buy it but I can't pay half the price for maybe 10% of the game, probably less in fact. The thing is the length of a DLC so should have DLC pricing, $10-$15.
First answer this, apples or oranges which are better?
Far Cry 3 has some of the best gameplay mechanics in an FPS game. Open world aside, the gun play and myriad ways to kill people is still unmatched in any other popular FPS. Best of all, it all worked very well. I'd love for more game to copy FC3 gameplay mechanics.
They already have, just informally. Xone is cheaper everywhere now but if they announce a price cut this early it acknowledges that they are (or were) struggling.
I'm a huge MGS fan but can't bring myself to pay $30 for it on PS4 or $20 on PS3.
For me, $20 max on PS4.
Should the early supporters get 1000 times their investment back if they're unhappy.
I though this whole revolution and total control of the living room was going to be about providing a comprehensive streaming service tied to Live/PSN to out-Netflix Netflix.
All we got was the completely misguided plugging one box into another from one company and nothing from the other.
