Competition is good in the gaming industry. Hopefully each company will do everything in their power to keeps customers satisfied and win mind share.
Wonder if thats the reason xone is missing amazing games like Outlast
Win Win Win
That will be great if true but given MS capacity to bs and exaggerate the truth with all things done related I'll wait for the devs to confirm.
Good to see MS is trying again.
In the gaming induatry , competition is good. Maybe if Live Gold becomes more than just a pay wall and starts offering quality games and discounts I'll consider getting xbone.
That and they need to release a SKU that allows for upgradable OFF THE SHELF hard drives. I'm not buying a console stuck with an under 500 gig HD, especially when game installs are as big as they are these days. Plus if your HD breaks in a few ye...
Its more like a free to play model that makes you pay to play then pay some more
I have to agree, I've purchased more dlc since ps4 launched than all last gen.
For both ps3 and ps4, its strange. I think PSN Plus has something to do with it.
Proof or it's PR BS.
MS really should support indies, Resogun and Outlast are better games experiences than Ryse, Shadowfall, Knack, and DR3.
How hard can it be to just patch that now?
Also, it would be nice to be able to change the standby colour, not a fan of orange.
MS should win an award for it's ability to constantly dangle new carrots for the mules to follow.
End of 2015, well that's a lot of time to actually make their BS possibly come true but MS has no problem promising and never delivering. As long as the fans have false hope they're happy with the sales.
4x more power due to the cloud, wait and see.
Kinect lag free, wait and see
50% more CPU power, wait and see.
Looking at most games, devs don't take it very seriously. 99% of games have horrible bad stories and shallow, one sided characters. A good plot and believable/entertaining characters will never make a game worse.
Remember games like Halo 1 and COD4 drew fans in with the SP.
I hope the success of TLO motivates devs to focus more on quality plots and characters.
is the whole game in a dungeon?
I actually don't mind devs giving timed exclusive dlc if the dlc isn't substantial (may help fund the game), but no exclusive content is better.
The games would like terrible at 120 fps.
It not a matter of whether it can do it, it's what sacrifices would have to be made, and there would be A LOT of sacrifices.
PS3/360 could do 1080p 60 fps easily but the games would look terrible.
Not even giving the site a click, it's review score is well below the average and it starts off trolling by comparing the game to Titanfall.
While I hope this is true, I have trouble believing a site with derp in the name.
So what, there's some half finished PS4 version sitting somewhere and they found out partly through development that it would only be on xbox and PC? Highly doubtful.
And what was with all the MS PR work they were doing too. I doubt Respawn was entirely clueless about everything. They were in on the exclusivity early on and talked about why only xone could handle the game.
Not sure I'll care about the next one, Respawn and EA never should have sold out to MS.
Much more excited about Destiny and the Division now.
EA will be fine though, they have Battlefield, Respawn on the other hand had the best chance of creating a COD killer and blew it for a short term gain.
Competition is good for the consumer.
