And this is how you get post engagement!
State controversial hyperbolic opinion that gets two(+) flavours of fanboy into an argument. *chef’s kiss*
I guess it beats “behold: boobs!” Which seems to be the other way. 😂
On an on topic note, obviously BOTW doesn’t come close to being the most overrated title. It’s a good game and got good reviews.
Rainslacker:
Can’t vouch for that source, the guessing part is secondary to the point I’m making.. Though I’m sure it was multiple choice.
The difference between 30, 60 and 120fps is plainly obvious. The cut off point when it goes over 60fps differs from person to person. Some people get a perceptible difference between 120 and 240.
If anyone can’t see a difference between 60hz and 120hz they have substandard visual perception. It is a...
Haha yeah you can swap a couple of words and rerelease the same article again and again.
.. I hope you’re trolling. It’s probably a joke, in which case; haha. 😅
For anyone who believes this myth though: If you can’t see a difference between 30 and 60fps (let alone 100fps) your vision is substandard.
“ The human eye can physiologically detect up to ~1000 frames per second. The average human, tasked with detecting what framerate he/she is looking at, can accurately guess up to around 150 fps. That is, they can see the difference in fram...
If Ellie died and got her brain dissected and the research actually freaking helped by some miracle..
That would be kind of funny. If depressing. But everything we’ve seen so far makes it look like the point of still having sciencey stuff around is well passed now.
I wouldn’t mind if she dies if it fits the story, it looks like there’s a whole thriving community now full of other people. Obviously it makes most standard narrative sense for Joel to die, but I dunno...
I would have only accepted this begrudgingly at first but they’ve more than proven themselves and their commitment to the game now. They saved it from potential disaster and it’s improved drastically under their watch.
I’m glad Notch has nothing to do with it anymore. I wish they’d do a sequel documentary to The Story Of Mojang, that would be.. Interesting. 😅
Never meet your heroes.
Not sure if serious?
Just look at the changelog, they add stuff often, at a much more stable rate than when he who shall not be named was at the helm.
Goddamn I’d love modern ports of Scott Pilgrim, such a shame.
I would think a switch lite mini is more likely.. This is the XL, despite being slightly smaller screened than the original Switch - It’s still huge for a handheld, the screen could easily be smaller making the device more pocketable/kid focused.
Not enough years for it to be soon. R* for better or worse really don’t seem to like going backwards, and the sort of worlds they’ve had in GTA5 and RDR2 take fooorrrevvverrr to build.
Downloaded and waiting for the beta.
This and NMS really restore your faith in devs supporting things for the long haul. I’ve had various projects I’ve backed on KS completely evaporate during the dev process so seeing studios rough it out over prologued periods is great.
I have it. It is not a “collection of mini games” by any means. There are some small casual games and also a bunch of other stuff that’s much more involved and significant. Stuff that is commercial in any other setting.
Overland and Shinsekai are nice, I’ve only had time to try a handful of titles but even the “casual” fare is often good indie stuff people would have bought in other marketplaces (What The Golf is hilarious.) Shantae is always fun too.

Lol, I don’t think there were even 1980s B&W TVs that size? 😅
In the 1980s we were largely rocking ~14” TVs for our computers, if that. (But obviously in colour by then!)
I literally gave an example where you can see a difference. A clear difference. Put them side by side and choose the right content and the CRT can perform better. Anything with pixel graphics has a chance of looking significantly nicer on CRT, particularly if drawn with CRT in mind (ie games from the 8 and 16bit era) There’s even an argument for low fi connections, many console games targeting shitty not-even RGB SCART quality display, allowed some really nice dithers and gradients.

I miss CRTs but I don’t miss how massive they are!
I wish some companies still made high end but affordable-ish CRTs, with modern tech, but economy of scale makes that unlikely to ever happen. There’s something about the glow of CRTs, just got to go to an arcade with both CRT and LCD displays to see how CRTs suit some games better.
That seems disingenuous considering the 11Pro starts at £999. That’s like saying gaming on pc is expensive because high end PCs exist.
It also runs on ancient, way less powerful devices. You can pick up an SE or a 7 for less than a PS4.
Whaat!? Whoever downvoted Chu Chu Rocket is a fake gamer! 😉
Seriously though it’s a genuine classic and one of the best games on the DC.
Shantae and new Chu Chu rocket are “launch titles..”
New Chu Chu rocket! That’s a really nice thing to come out while we’ve all been reminiscing about the Dreamcast.
I just mean it was really odd to see that in another presentation when it happened. I mean it’s one thing having controller support but no other big “by the rules” player flaunts controleler support for the big two like that. MS and Sony must have to some extent approved I would’ve thought? Weird. :)
But yeah I’m interested to see where this goes.
Designing these sort of outfits for game characters would be a fun, if repetitive job.
£20 for a bunch of witch costumes that are pretty much variations on almost the same. Ouch. Do DOA games ususally get an ultimate edition with all the dlc in?
