I’m for a digital future with the caveat that as soon as you nuke support for old titles you forfeit the right to care when I copy and emulate your games. 😅
Not that I’d want to emulate this version of Tetris anyway, but that’s beside the point.
Most games run fine with controllers.. providing you didn’t really mess up your PC build/choice it’s a really easy transition in either direction.
After they leaked everyone’s freaking addresses .. it’s not entirely undeserved.
I never felt like we even remotely needed E3?
Whoever wrote them thought it was a good idea. And that’s okay.
I’d think it should be a remake and expansion of the first game, making it more modern in approach.. they burn through a lot of good storytelling in a quite janky game there and it’d mean a pretty consistent trilogy to play through.
Delay until you can comfortably release at a standard you’re happy with.
Crunch, in the negative sense implies wonky project management (which can be due to many things..) Crunch shouldn’t be happening unless it’s really well compensated.
Haha, captain cook.
Birmingham is overwhelmingly English speaking, when did you last visit?
We didn’t all vote Tory. 😬
Considering smart phones have a lot more tech in than that, and frequently have all day battery life..
All Sony need to do is not cheap out on the battery they choose.
Wait what, you can connect any Bluetooth headset (not proprietary) already on the PS4 and even the PS3, if they’re standards compliant..
I’ve used multiple Third party and generic Bluetooth headsets on both PS3 and 4 that had nothing to do with Sony. Even paired cheap Bluetooth speakers etc. 😂
Likewise, mine is an art tool really but 🤷🏻♀️ It’s all good.
Nobody’s buying an iPad Pro *for* Fortnite. It’s nice to see devs taking advantage of the hardware though.
If someone likes playing fortnite that’s their call.
Yup, it’s one of its main selling points over the non-pro models. Introduced in the second iPad Pro, let alone the 2018 models
Crazy! One thing I noticed running fortnite on this iPad is how slowly it drains the battery. I’m guessing that’s probably changed at 120fps. 😂
120fps and supporting DualShock 4 and XB1 pads it’s a nice platform for games if only more studios would push it like this.
Ed: this is absolutely not what I got the iPad Pro for, though. I doubt many people actively use them for games.
Tennis for two was a 1958 oscilloscope game that was competitive multiplayer.
Spacewar! Was a 1961 competitive multiplayer space shooter. (And legitimately still a fun game!)
Most of the first games were MP. And they’re all really interesting and should be read up on.
I wish more stuff had co-op. I have a lot more fun Gaming memories playing things like gauntlet, joust and rampage (all 3 of which have a significant potential for trolling the other players), bubble bobble, etc, than strictly vs stuff.
Obviously mp isn’t necessary in all games but it’s nice when it is, as an option.
I’m loving the show so far for what it is though I laughed pretty hard at the exposition elf. It’s a great show but it needs to learn it can teach by showing rather than have characters do huge plot dumps to catch us up. 😂
I love how the goose is somehow iconic. Shows what good simple animation/art design can do.
RE4 is so damn good if they were making a remake I’d want them to make it different enough to be worthwhile but not deviate from the feel and setting, as they’re important.
It could be called something else though.. And include the normal game with updated controls/textures/lighting. VR support and an optional switch to first person would be really fun if they ramped up the detail.
I have a Chinese-born relative who lives in Ireland and makes $$ sending western baby formula to China because a significant number of wealthyish Chinese families don’t trust the stuff they can get in China itself. (Somewhat understandably)
Strange world.
