Planification? 😵💫
Oooorrrr just watch Streets Of Fire instead. 🙂 (and The Warriors) these, and a few other movies were so influential on the Japanese brawlers (and their entire take on American street crime/gangs/etc) that they’re likely better SoR movies than whatever this turns out like.
Unless it comes out good.. Which seems unlikely? But who knows!
I love how my comment gets marked as “inappropriate” because, uhh.. reasons? People.. disagreed with it? Anyway, yes. TLOU2 is incredibly successful in all measurable ways except keeping a bunch of knuckleheads happy, it sold incredibly, has huge critical acclaim and you only need to watch gameplay footage of highly skilled players to see it has huge dynamic depth.
Stuff like DLC takes time to make (no shit!), post launch content isn’t as important as getting the product ou...
I’m not sure who looks at this and thinks they’re chasing realism, exactly. This is still hyper stylised with an emphasis on musculature.. There are a lot of not 100% anime-looking places they could take it.
I’d wait and see what the game looks like in motion first. Could be interesting.
For all we know they’ll have optional filters too, we know next to nothing about it.
Can’t reply so down a thread but stop repeating “ it's a fact: Legend of Zelda was the 1st game that allowed gamers to save progression?” as it’s utter nonsense.
First *console* game isn’t first game, we’d been saving in home computer games since the early 80s. Zelda wasn’t even the first console game to do it either, anyway! It’s only because rewritable storage was at a premium that stopped them doing it earlier on console, not some Nintendo genius.
I suspect it’s in part to encourage and highlight the subgroup.. It can seem more inclusive to have all girl teams instead of 1 girl per however many guys.. having a really skewed balance can decrease the chance of getting more women players interested, as competitive gaming and its audiences aren’t always known for their inclusivity (lol understatement)..
It also plays well with sponsors, doing this occasionally, I suspect. 😅
But people who bought it at launch are still playing and enjoying it years later? He did always say they would support it post release..
That sounds pretty good to me.. Order of priority for me on games like this goes Smoothness (not total fps, just, smooth 50+) > IQ > total FPS > resolution. If I have to use dlss or a slightly lower resolution whatever to hit high framerate that really doesn’t matter, particularly if gaming on the tv from the usual distance. 1440p is a great resolution if it’s antialiased well enough.
It’s nice to see games that are too demanding for current hardware at their high...
Stuff like this just makes me happier about my lowly 3060.. i had borderline buyers remorse when I got it at it’s pretty inflated prices but since then things have just got worse.
I think I fed the same about it but tbh I’m not sure what they could do with a story mode given the not exactly complex source material.. it’d likely just be reliving stuff we’ve seen already, but worse.
Because any time they find a way of extracting money from people for minimal effort they WILL do it, to the detriment of games as a whole. Microtransactions messed up so much game design. “You don’t have to participate” isn’t the point, it legitimately makes games worse, by design. Giving things “value” outside of games just gives them more ways to encourage busywork across titles. It’s skeezy.
Huh I’d never thought about that much from the perspective of a rolling spec high-end game.. I remember 10Ish years ago a friend upgrading his pc massively in preparation for SC.. Oh boy. 😅
It’s not about freedom of speech AT ALL.
As head of a company he shouldn’t be so stupid as to say something that’ll reflect awfully on the company and give a ton of negative publicity. Even if I agreed with him (which I absolutely do not) I wouldn’t want someone dumb enough to do that in charge of anything.
I’m sure this new cooling setup is fine. I’d definitely go with the version with the bigger heat sink though given the choice. Even if it is potentially slight overkill. Who knows the operating temp range of these components anyway, if anyone does it’s Sony. 😅
This is great just to (re)raise the profile of the Amiga.. By far my favourite retro platform. I have a reasonably pimped-out A1200 now but still see the appeal of things like this.
Anyone interested in the Amiga should head over to EAB or look up Amigabill on twitch. We're still a very active community with a surprising number of commercial releases. (Even boxed ones, with printed manuals and everything else you miss about the old days, haha) It's pretty surreal. I...
Huh? You saw the bug? That’s not how most bugs work.
i didn’t see anyone get offended, but Epic tried to preemptively remove it before the tabloids noticed and made a big deal out of a nothing burger, like they always do. Won’t someone think of the children, etc.
Bugs.. Why did it have to be bugs?
Donating, not voting, and he took the coward’s way out as all he had to do was own it.
That’s.. not generally how languages work. I too could stick random language words into an English sentence that you wouldn’t understand, but that’d be *really* silly on an English language site.
