lol funny you mention God of War clone.
When I saw that Ryse trailer about the guy who gets betrayed and killed, then goes into the afterlife and gets revived by a god and sent back for vengence.
I was like... "Didn't I play this game 10 years ago?"
Actually Crysis 3 was pretty good gameplay wise. A solid 8/10.
Whoa whoa whoa now, I love dialing phone numbers.
*Pre-orders Ryse*
Don't forget Titanfall is 720p, and Killer Instinct.
I have a feeling Destiny is going to be 720p also. Bungie couldn't even get Halo 3 to run at 720p on the 360. They aren't the best when it comes to tech, but are good at making better gameplay.
I hope that it will at least go to the PC. I enjoyed DR2 on the PC.
Gah... Dead Rising 3 is one of the only few titles that's making think to get an X1. But I can't shake the feeling that I should wait it out and pray for the PC version instead of dropping $500 on an underpowered overpriced sub-PC.
I would rather have a well polished game that is really fun running at 60 fps and 1080p and was absolutely gorgeous.
*Fixed*
Be a smarter consumer.
Don't settle for a disgusting tasting burger for $1 more when you could have the gourmet burger for only $4.
Why not demand both? Some of the best titles last generation managed to do both. Uncharted, Gears of War, Borderlands 2, etc.
It's not really too much to ask for given the "next" generation of consoles is supposed to leap above the last generation.
If it was $400 I'm sure people could overlook the shortcomings. But no, not at $500.
^Yeah always bringing up easy sports games and that one single racing title that it can do 1080p/60fps.
Still, the most technically impressive X1 title is Ryse at 900p, except that it's 30fps.
Idba has a point, compare a $400 pc to the ps4. You're looking at integrated graphics level of performance. Sorry but it's true. To really get the true enthusiast PC high level of graphics you need at least a $250-$300 gpu by itself.
Don't worry, there are actually people out there that actually just want the franchise. I enjoyed the hell out of it on 360. In fact it's one of the very few games I bought. If it was up to me I wish it all came out on pc
You know this could be true, if you think about it, unreal engine 4 was showed on the ps4 hardware already, and given how mark rein praised the 8gb of gddr5, it could happen. If it doesn't and still only comes out for the xbox then it's good for MS.
I'd buy it
Ryse in 1080p 60fps with all the effects and details cranked up, dead rising 3 1080p 60fps with all the details cranked up, etc. Ryse looks amazing as is, but it's unfortunate to dream how much further they could have done with a more powerful system. What we see is good, it could have been mind melting great instead.
Imagine if they actually invested in better hardware, those "experiences" could have also been even greater.
Looks very good, have to say despite whatever the reasons to not own an x1, this is THE reason to get it. My kind of gameplay and I like the ancient Roman setting. 900p or not it doesn't matter really with this game.
Safe to say at this point, PC/PS4/X1 versions are having framerate drops.
Too bad for you Xbox fans who kept trying to act like it's an isolated issue for the PS4.
^This...
I don't get it, MW2 looks better for some reason. It's strange how could they go backwards in terms of texture detail and effects.
Is this satire? I can't tell.
Uhhh hello? Did you miss the part about Kinect being soooo awesome??? And you can watch NFL with your Bros??? And The cloud's theoretically computational power equivalent of an Autobot's left thumb???
