I'm pretty certain that if the Xbox One version was 1080p and the PS4 was 720p, they would be glamouring left and right now much clearer 1080p is.

I would have said get the 290X also, but after they dropped the price to $500 for the 780, I say get the 780. The 290X's biggest flaws is the extreme heat output and noise levels. Not something I want in my system personally. At the very least if you do decide on a 290X, wait for the custom PCB's with better cooling.

I got BF4 for the PC and now I regret it. While the graphics are great, it keeps crashing on me. Already updated all my drivers, reduced my overclocks, and everything. Seriously annoyed now.
Future Xbox One Owners, be sure to set the youtube video to 720p instead of 1080p for more clarity for your eyes.

However on the bright side, the only way to go is up. Once developers harness the super duper power of ESRAM, it can start doing 4K gaming. Sprinkle a little magic fairy dust combined with the infinite power of the cloud, it will also make you a sandwich and vacuum your room, just you wait and see.
It's not that bad, sure it's not Pixar or Dreamworks level of quality, it obviously doesn't have that kind of budget.

It's been a hard fault battle, and we've lost so many. It's been tough out here. And it's been getting worst. Obviously no, I get what you are trying to imply that the IQ and Details of the system is just as important as resolution. But when you have the opposing system, case in point the PS4, in which is A) Running the same or higher details and B) Runs in 125% more resolution. The argument you make is invalid.
If the PS4 had to make concessions on graphics, then your argument would be valid. But in Reality, you know what that is right? Reality, the PS4 is able to do BOTH.

Look at the gap of the PS3 and 360 version of Black Ops. I remember how "inferior" the PS3 was and how the Xbox fans can see every tiny little pixel difference. Hell they could tell you how many pixels exactly was missing on the PS3 version.
But now all of a sudden they don't see a difference from 720p to 1080p and it's all about the gameplay.

Upscaled is only that, upscaled! It does not magically draw pixels THAT AREN'T THERE. And we're talking a 1,152,000 pixel difference here.

Whoa whoa whoa now... It's been working for them pretty well the past 8 years. I mean who else could convince an entire user base that an electronic device can die on you 1/3 times is acceptable, that paying for a free service is worth it, and now an inferior spec console is more powerful than a higher spec console, and then have droves and droves of mindless followers that actually is truly convinced that 720p is clearer than 1080p.

It's like you buy a 1080p Blu-Ray movie and you expect crystal clear quality because you spent $25 on it.
You should NOT be ok if that same Blu-Ray movie was 720p upscale...
