Yup he started the PS4 overheating rumor even though the rest of the industry is having no such issues.
Waiting for "lifeisgamesok" to come in here to dispute otherwise and tell us all how 720p is clearer and sharper than 1080p.
Yup this is my shooter of choice for launch.
This is awesome, consumers win with this type of stuff!
Umm... 4K, 4 Titans... 4 Titans alone are $4,000...
Seriously... what's so hard to understand?
I would happily spend $700 on the 780Ti seeing as how it's substantially quieter, runs cooler, and has those Nvidia features.
Yeah it's about the size of the original PS3 except it has a little more width and less height.

However, the PS4 is moderately smaller in size.
The reason it looks slightly blurry on the PS4 is I'm going to give an educated guess that it is using FXAA anti-aliasing which blurs the entire image a little. It's still running at a higher resolution. The DF article was written by a rookie who still doesn't understand how hardware works.
To be fair they claimed it had a "software" upscaler and not a hardware upscaler. It's hilarious seeing as how all modern AMD GPU's have a built-in hardware upscaler.
Even then, yes Native resolution is best.
I agree with Gribble.
Pretty soon developers can start making games in 260p and upscale it to 4K. That way the you can max out the details. It will definitely be sharper because of the magic of upscaling.
That and 10% isn't going to make up a 125% deficit in resolution, then again they might have at least got it to run at 900p.
Yes I agree that Youtube video qualities are not representative of the actual quality of what we see directly.
In terms of graphics I'm going to put it like this
PC>PS4>X1>WiiU>PS 3=360
^You're thinking in PC terms. The Wii U doesn't have VRAM in the same sense. It just has 2GB of RAM that is used by both the CPU and GPU and is shared. 1GB is dedicated to the OS and the other 1GB is dedicated to games.
I'm going to assume it will have higher res textures since it does have more RAM.
The ps4 version has much sharper textures, +125% resolution, better effects and runs 60fps. The graphics arent "slightly" better, its moderately better. Well worth the upgrade IMO.
Not seeing any difference
I'm pretty sure that's a retail unit they are walking out of.
Umm you do realize that a 4770k is at most 10% faster than a 2600k. That and 2600ks can clock up to 4.6-5ghz pretty easily making up the difference. And a gtx680 is still more than necessary for bf4 on ultra. I would know because I have that exact setup lol. 4.6ghz 2600k and zotac gtx680 1210mhz
I'm having these issues on my pc too. Argh.. keeps crashing randomly.. need another patch already
Yeah it looks "ok" at first, but when it closes up to the football it looks pretty good. Not too bad for a launch Madden game.
Now let's just hope they got it locked at 60fps with no stupid glitches ruining the gameplay.
