"According to the company, the game will be enhanced for 64-Bit systems and multi-cores."
*dances*
I wholeheartedly agree with what you guys are saying. I loved Fallout 3, but when I tried to go back and replay it after running through New Vegas twice, I got about 5 hours in before I realized I was extremely bored. The social interaction is flat-out bland, and the gameplay felt extremely lacking without the reputation and faction system that you could screw with in New Vegas. Even the shooting felt boring without any ammo types or weapon mods. Fallout 3 worked as an elder scrolls-style...
i'll take a delay over a buggy game any day.
man, not looking forward to dropping $160 on this, hitman, and AC3 on the same day. and that's assuming ubisoft and square enix don't go all EA/Activision/Zenimax on us and charge $60 for their PC versions..
For me, it's the intricate story weaved together from the narrative threads in the fallout new Vegas dlcs. Each episode is a self contained story that ties back into significant events in the Mojave wasteland, but they weave together to tell a story that successfully reveals the origins of the courier while managing not to imply anything about the quality of the player's character. Not only that, but lonesome road provides a hidden background to the main story that reveals new Vegas i...
Fantastic read. It's very refreshing to find an insightful, well-written article among the typo-riddled crap you find in most corners of gaming journalism these days.
man, i TOTALLY thought they were going for an E
Well, my plan was to flip a coin to decide between zer0 and the gunzerker dude, but.. this is more than enough reason for me to pick zer0.
Whoa whoa whoa, are you expressing opinions?? On the INTERNET?! IN A COMMENTS SECTION!?!? That never goes over well.
I gotta say, the whole rape thing in Mexico completely destroyed Marston as a legitimate character for me. With all his talk about wanting a quiet family life and protecting his wife and kids, the whole rape thing either makes him a complete sociopath or an ethical retard. I firmly believe that games are art, so I have no issue with a game tackling an issue like that, but I hate seeing it used like that, it makes no god damn sense in the context of the story. The John Marston we knew up un...
For some, I'm sure it's boring as hell. But for me, the most fun I ever had with MGS2, MGS3, and more recently, Deus Ex: HR, were my no-kill no-alarm playthroughs. Exceedingly challenging, but a god damn blast.
2 evga gtx 460s, an i5 760 (overclocked from to 4.2 on each core), an asus p7p55d-e mobo, and 4x2gb of gskill RAM (overclocked to 1600 from 1333). I definitely had to bargain-hunt but it was worth it. I only wish I had waited until these newest intel cpus came out, now I'm stuck with an 1155 socket type so I can't exactly upgrade to the latest generation. But frankly, I have no need to, this thing's been able to take everything I throw at it.
You CAN play left 4 dead split screen on PC.
But, unfortunately, that is a rare exception. I'd like to see more split screen support, especially since so many people hook their PCs up to TVs and use controllers.
It may be spread out over two years, but regardless, $460 is a lot to shell out for a 360 bundle. You'd be better off saving the $300 by being patient and gradually setting aside the money for yourself.
Yeah, mine cost me $600 and I can max out Max Payne 3 and Battlefield 3 with all but the highest anti-aliasing.
but microsoft didn't own bungie, only the Halo IP. if this were to happen, and i don't think it will, i think the long-term impact would be bungie's contract with activision. call of duty would hurt in the short run, but there really can't be more than a few years left in it before it gets the tony hawk and guitar hero treatment.
oh hell yes.
Yeah, it's best to wait until the very last day of the sale before springing for anything that's part of a pack. The packs stay up the whole time, so it's best to make sure the thing you want doesn't show up as a daily deal over the course of the 10 days.
Yeah, I think $99 is really the magic number for what they're trying to accomplish. The hardware really isn't that great if you think of it as a console being designed in 2012. The Nexus 7 has the same exact specs, pretty much, but it's more impressive to see it stuffed in a tablet. It'd be cool to see some beefier hardware, but I personally don't think it stands a chance if they bump the price into the triple-digits.
any word on whether this is move exclusive?
