I don't see this as artsy, but more of a cheap tactic for an emotional response.
But, admittedly, they seem to finally be using their multiple perspective structure to the advantage of the narrative. Cheap as it may be, it DOES provoke an emotional response, as opposed to 4, which didn't do much for me at all.
I've never seen so much internal PS3 conflict. Sony should totally do a Smash Bros rip-off. Snake, Kratos, Drake, Cole, Hale, Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Gabe Logan, Sev.. hell, they could even bring Crash back. And Spyro. They could use the guy from Yakuza, and the main character in White Knight Chronicles (I don't know their names since they're NOT IN THE US YET DAMMIT).

I scooped this up. I had actually downloaded this back in my piracy days but I only played about 5 minutes.. back then I only had my laptop so it ran like crap. What a fantastic deal, though. I'm really liking it, and feeling quite guilty for having pirated it back then. I only wish you could turn off the head-wobble when walking, not many games make me nauseous but for some reason it's getting to me.

Anyway it's a PC-based engine, so it's probably easy for them to scale it all the way down to Wii-equivalent settings and just port it over. I think technically it's the same engine they've been using since the first Devil May Cry (if I remember correctly), they just constantly upgrade pieces of it. Exactly. In fact, the biggest PC gamers I know play Valve pretty much exclusively. One of my best friends ONLY plays CSS, ever. Once in a blue moon I'll see him on Trackmania. I gifted him HL2 and Episode 1 when I got the Orange Box a couple years ago cuz I already owned them, so he's at least played those, but he keeps upgrading his rig even though he already has CSS maxed out at 130+ fps. I couldn't even talk him into Left 4 Dead. And speaking of Valve, if they don't mention Episode 3...

While I think Netflix will definitely be on the Wii and PS3 eventually, I'm gonna guess that what they're referring to here is the iphone.
