That's not maxed out, right? RIGHT?!?
I'd be interested to see what percentage of their systems sold have been hacked or modded or whatever. It seems a lot more common than I originally thought. Obviously they'd never release a statistic like that, but I'm still curious.
Awww, look! Matchmaking and dedicated servers living in harmony, within a single game!
Another try for uploading that chart..
edit: still no dice. mods, please delete this comment
lol, nice.
I saw a chart someone made of the features for COD4 vs COD6. It's kind of pathetic. Let me see if I can dig it up.
Edit: Ah, found it. Gonna attach it now.
Another edit: Sh!t, it's not attaching for some reason
Yet another edit: Seriously, what's going on here? Why can't I upload an image from my HD?
I gotcha. I dunno why, but I've never been able to break into Final Fantasy. I got a pretty good ways into 7, but at some point I completely lost interest and stopped playing. I tried 12, but lost interest about a half-hour in. I think I'm gonna try 10 next, my friend said I'd like that one and he usually has a pretty good gauge on what I'll like.
*fills molotovs*
Whoa whoa whoa whoa, get your facts straight...
......it's 5 and a HALF hours. At least that's how quickly my friend and I got through the campaign, trading off on his hacked 360. But.. at least it's longer than cod5, right? Eh? Though I'd be lying if I said the campaign wasn't significantly better than I expected, and kind of makes cod4's feel like a paintball match. But still not worth $60 in my book.
I'm not really into Final Fantasy, so maybe someone can help me out.. if all the main FF games are supposed to be completely separate and in different universes, why are Chocobos in every game? Then again, I suppose you could ask why humans are in every game too, so maybe I'm thinking about it too much.
Some people prefer matchmaking, though. Which is fine. So why can't they do BOTH?! If people like the matchmaking service to find their games for them, so be it, let them have their 9 vs 9 cap and their subtle and not-so-subtle p2p lag, but there's no reason to force everyone to take the technical step backwards in the name of "ease of use."
And I'm not so sure about what he said about the people you find through matchmaking to be more 'tolerable.' I can't tell you ...
Yeah, I didn't even know Rage was gonna have multiplayer, nor do I care.
No, but you do have to shoot the riot police that show up.
*clings to Valve for dear life*
I'm getting a 5+ min load at start up, the others are probably 1-2 min between bigger areas. Going into smaller areas isn't as bad though, but sometimes my frame rate drops down to 10-15 for dialogue scenes when it's 55-60 for others. It doesn't seem to matter who I'm talking to or how many people are present. It also seems that a lot of the graphics setting don't affect my in-play frame rate, I can drop the texture quality and graphics quality and disable frame buffer effects and it basic...
They really gave away a lot more in that trailer than they should have
I think it's not so much that to fully enjoy the game it requires an HDD, it's that they've been selling and STILL sell a console without a hard drive. Devs can get away with a mandatory install on PS3 because, at the very least, X player will have a 20gb hard drive. At the same time, it wouldn't be as horrible of an idea to sell an HDD-less console if they had adopted a bigger storage medium instead of sticking to DVD-9.
This guy seems to blame Turn-10, but it's not their faul...
They already said they're not doing it because of the high level of piracy and how easy it'd be for people to exploit the trophy system.
I don't think that's a very good reason and I'd love to see it anyway, but that's what they said :-(
:-))))))))))))))
(That's a lot of smiles, as opposed to a really fat smiley with a lot of chins)
Yeah, exactly. I don't think they would do something that ominous and vague if it was a Mass Effect 2 feature, Bioware's already revealed a bunch of stuff about it.
I'm surprised they got the price so low. Still not gonna get it.
