I had no intention of getting Sony's motion controller or a 3D monitor any time soon, but if they release a 3D patch and head-tracking patch for MGS4 I'm getting both as soon as humanly possible.

Man, I hate how so much of the journalism surrounding this game fails to realize that Fallout is only recently a Bethesda franchise, and that a lot of people making New Vegas were on the Fallout 2 team and were working on Black Isle's Fallout 3 until it was canceled. I mean, yeah, they say that in the article, but.. no connection to Fallout 1/2? Are you kidding me? I forgot what a significant role the NCR played in Fallout 3...

This is old news, but I still don't get it. They made SUCH a big deal about how they were truly tapping into the power of quad-core tech. Then again, it used to be open world, too. I wish we'd gotten to see that.

I almost wish Rockstar would build their cities/worlds and license them off to other developers who can solely focus on crafting gameplay and story. I lived in NOLA for 4 years after the storm, and I've always wanted an open-world game set in New Orleans that touches on the topic of the storm and reconstruction. I just don't think GTA is the franchise to do it. Since it's being made by the ex-Fallout 2 devs, I'd say it's a safe bet that a lot of Van Buren ideas are going into this title. Apparently the project lead was actually Black Isle's Fallout 3 project lead. I'm glad they went with the continuing story of NCR after FO2, instead of mysteriously bringing the Enclave back in full-force with no explanation after they were wiped out at the end of FO2 (cough cough... BETHESDA).

I'm that huge sci-fi nerd.
I LOVE mass effect 2, moreso than Uncharted 2. I can't stop playing it, I've sank way more hours into it than U2 (though that makes sense, given the nature of both games), it dominates my thoughts when I'm not playing in a way that Uncharted 2 never could, and it captivates me way more than Uncharted 2 ever did.
