lol, I wasnt implying that Europeans gave a shit about our situation. You dont, and, i cant say that i blame you.
I was implying that if the game isnt released here, then some Americans might resent you a little bit. I wont because i know who truly is at fault, Nintendo of America.
But yea, have fun, its an awesome game.
Good article. Wouldve been great without all of the bashing of the Democratic Party, but excellent points. Nintendo of America really blew it. Ive been a loyal Nintendo consumer for quite some time now, and ive never regretted that... until recently.
For the Wii, 2011 is going by very slowly. Waiting for NoA to give a straight answer for a Xenoblade release. And counting down the days until November (Skyward Sword).
On the bright side, the game drought i...
I still have my hopes up. NoA claims that if it sells well in Europe, then we will get to play too. Who knows? I think that the fact that it's dual layered doesnt help either.
You have no plans of buying these games...
Nintendo of America not releasing these games shows you that they dont care about "core" gamers...
Then by you're own logic, you are not a "core" gamer.
You see how silly it sounds to label gamers by what type of games they play.
Debuting in the UK's top 10 is definitely a good start. But who knows what kinda numbers NoA is looking for. This is all so unfair to Europe. If the game isnt released in the US, now, theyll share some of the blame.
Wow, thats the first 3rd party dev that i heard say bad things about the WiiU controller.
There is a pattern here, innovation is always a "gimmick" until Sony copies it. At the very least you have to admit that the potential is there. Oh well, to each their own. For me, its simply a must buy.
You compare Nintendo and Sega to Nazis and Communist Party, you crown Sony as the Messiah of 3rd party developers, and you rant about how Nintendo "fooled" hundreds of millions into buying a Wii... Yet you warn US not to believe the hype?
Ummm ok.
Nintendo is EXCELLENT at making games, makes affordable and effective hardware, you ADORE them... but you want them to be dedicated 3rd party developers?
This is good news. If it sells well, and Nintendo of America keeps their word, itll just be a matter of time. Although, im starting to think that being dual layered isnt helping Xenoblade's cause.
Can i have one?
Nice.
Counting down the days. Some new info would be nice.
Fire Emblem was released on the Wii, and it was awesome. I have it. My point is that there were 3 Mario games released on the Wii (not counting Paper Mario, Mario Party, and Mario Sports games): New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
There was only 1 Fire Emblem game released for the Wii. There was also only 1 Fire Emblem game released for the DS.
StarFox had 1 DS game, and no games on the home console. Nintendo hasnt even re...
Nice article.
Pokemon definitely needs to move to the home console. Its the only reason that i buy the Nintendo handhelds. I wouldnt change anything else though.
Critics these days, Wind Waker was awesome.
Nice. Here's my Top 10:
10. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
9. Muramasa The Demon Blade
8. Metroid Other M
7. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
6. The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
5. Golden Eye 007
4. Super Mario Galaxy
3. New Super Mario Bros.
2. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
1. SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2
Nice article.
I have to say, the more Mario the better. I dont play any of the party/sports games, but i have all of the adventure games. Nice points on how Nintendo is seemingly abandoning their other titles (i.e. Fire Emblem, F-Zero, Starfox etc.).
But yea, really love where Nintendo is going with Mario Galaxy 1 & 2.
An interesting concept, but, i dont like it. Too easy. I want Nintendo to surprise me with past character that ive forgotten about. And more 3rd party characters.
Wow.
Casual gaming kicked Hardcore gaming's ass! Not that im proud of that or anything.
Super Metroid was truly epic!
I have a lot of fond memories of SNES Street Fighter 2 also.
Did they announce any news for the WiiU? If not, then im shocked too. It wouldve been a good move for Nintendo, considering the "confusion" of their E3 press conference.
Looking at the game list, its official, the Wii will be dead by 2012. Why not start the WiiU buzz?
Dude ill smack Nintendo if they come out with another model of the 3DS so soon. The 3DS hasnt even been out for 6 months! I want one for Christmas, when better games start showing up.
That comment was in no way dissing Ocarina of Time. One of my all time favorites.
