This needs to be a gorgeous looking Pokemon RPG for the WiiU. Think of Pokemon Stadium 2 elements (gym leader castle, prime/poke cup) mixed into an RPG world similar to the handheld versions. Scrap Pokemon Battle Revolution's online battle system, and start from scratch. I want online 6 on 6 battles for the home console.

I think that Nintendo sticking to the N64 cartridges and Gamecube optical disc had more to do with a fear of piracy than being cheap. I am not 100% sure, but i think that cartridges are significantly more expensive to develop for. And optical disc are about the same as a dvd.
But yea, i missed out too dude. And yes, it sucks. And yes, i too have had enough. If the WiiU doesnt deliver (it will) then i am done.
Ummm... nice, i guess.
What is Nintendo doing!? They have a 3DS on the shelves! Are they now purposely trying to hurt sales? I am really confused with this one.
LOL. Yea, me too.
The update at the end really confused me. Was it cancelled, and then picked up by Nintendo? Did Nintendo buy it, and then cancel it?
Hope you're wrong though. Nintendo could use a gorgeous, dark title like this one.
Nice.
I forgot all about Geist.
Yea... im definitely waiting for the "remodeled" 3DS. With news of the add-on, it should be coming fairly soon (imo).
But you're right, at least its not a Virtual Boy.
Well said, and me too. I think that the rivalries have always been there (i.e. Nintendo vs. SEGA), but not to this degree. Gamers have such a stupid "gang mentality" now.
The title for this article is so misleading that its laughable. It just screams insecurity.
Everybody enjoying their troll food?
"WiiU for casual and family gamers, unlike PS4, Xbox 720"
LOL. Am i the only one that finds it funny that he never even said that in the interview?
“For Wii U, we think it will be appreciated by casual and family gamers. We are looking forward to hearing how much it will target core gamers, as well."
That is what he said! He didnt even mention PS4 or Xbox 720!
Thats a lil harsh dont ya think?
Its only rumors. Rumors about development kits at that. When the WiiU launches we'll be getting the finished product, not the kit, so who cares? If tech always came out perfectly, you wouldnt really need development kits (kinda).
You say that you want Nintendo to take more risk... how? The Wii was a huge risk for Nintendo. They gambled on a completely unknown target audience at the time. Now the WiiU does appear more t...
How are the controllers "rushed", the WiiU hasnt even been released yet? Tech takes time.
I guess that this is another n4g article meant to scare me away from my Nintendo. Nice try, but i usually dont buy development kits, i wait for finished products.
Dude seriously!
You have all these haters bragging as if this OLD rumor is a NEW fact.
Even if it is true, which i doubt, people act as if this is the version of the WiiU Nintendo will sell. This is an early development kit people, i doubt it will be for sale.
We'll get Xenoblade eventually. Its selling too well not to come to the US.
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword is definitely my most anticipated game this year. I cant believe that its almost been six years since Twilight Princess.
But yea, should be nice holiday if you're a gamer.
Nice.
Yea, personally i find the new 3DS attachment repulsive. The analog placement is terrible, and nobody likes a bulky handheld. However, i do see all of this as a blessing in disguise. The only logical reason to release the add-on is because a new model 3DS is on its way. Of course the new model will probably have standard dual circle pads.
I think that the bulky add-on was released out of guilt (and fear). The early 3DS buyers really got cheated.
Yea it is way too soon... but its still gonna happpen.
I mean, dude, look at how ugly that attachment is. Certainly doesnt look like a Nintendo machine to me. Think about it this way, the DS was a very "attractive" machine (not to sound weird or anything). It was slim, sleek and colorful. The Wii is also "attractive", not bulky and intimidating like this new 3DS add on.
I would definitely prefer a remodeled 3DS with dual circle pads.
Nice.
Come to Poppa.
Nice.
Perhaps this will put an end to all of the "no 2nd controller for the WiiU" specuation. I think that it would be utterly foolish of Nintendo not to pursue this idea. I still think that every WiiU should come with a "standard" controller. But who could refuse having a 2nd controller thats completely independent for gaming on the go.
I also wouldnt have to feel guilty for just buying Nintendo handhelds for Pokemon and Fire Emblem g...
You gotta good point there. Nintendo is announcing a "remodeled" 3DS this year. All i can think is, thank god i havent bought one yet. With the small game library and the buzz about people getting sick from 3D effects, ive been really hesitant to bring the 3DS home.
I will, however, definitely pick up the newer model. With 2 circle pads and triggers, Nintendo would have to be insane not have it as an optional WiiU controller.
You have a college degree, and yet you cannot even spell "mommy" correctly? Glad to see that your education wasnt a complete waste of money.
I love how you went from poorly trying to argue facts, to counting Agrees and Disagrees, to finally talking about my fat mommie (mommy). I guess thats what i get for engaging in a battle of wits... with an unarmed man.
Ive decided that I WILL "get you started". Why? Because i love watching losers ...
Mewtwo distribution?
How lame!
Anybody that bought Heart Gold/Soul Silver should already have Mewtwo! That update just ruined my day.
