Yea, Metroid got dissed.
I guess that that is just how Nintendo is sometimes. If you're not a title thats making money, then they try to make people forget about you. When is the last time we heard from Starfox or F-Zero?
Good points.
The 3DS is on thin ice. Although, it hasnt even been out for one year (let alone 6 months). And yes, Mario and Co. are what sells Nintendo systems. But i dont think that its impossible for "core" 3rd party developers to make money on the WiiU. A lot of the 3rd party companies that we're talking about wouldnt be where they are today if not for the Super Nintendo.
lol
That was really funny.
Although Jelly does make a fair point. Nintendo should offer any assistance that they can, however, i dont want them force-feeding "innovation" to 3rd party developers. Remember Soul Caliber Legends? Yea, unfortunately i do too.
If the WiiU truly offers innovation then 3rd party developers will be able to benefit from it. I never really bought the idea of "let me SHOW YOU how to use this revolutionary ide...
No clue. My only guess is that they thought it wouldnt sell. Which is wrong, because it would have (i wouldve bought this and Last Story).
I do have a feeling that we will see a sequel on the WiiU.
I think i stared at the Smash Bros. Brawl character select screen for a good 10 minutes. I know its not real, but that cast looked awesome.
okay, ill make sure to email you when i get one. oh wait, no i wont, you sound lame.
lol well we definitely wont buy it now!
"crappy wii version" screw him.
Well there you have it...
9 more reasons to stay mad at Nintendo of America!
Appreciate the response.
It was a well written article, and i wasnt trying to discourage anyone from reading it. To be honest I just disagree, especially towards the end.
I dont think that the WiiU will be marketed in quite the same way that the Wii was (atleast im hoping).
Also I just dont see how someone can say a system will fail, because a more advanced system will come out later? Doesnt that happen all of the time? And the Wii U is signifi...
Let me guess, the youtube channel wont be viewable in the States.
That explained a lot... lol
I hated the Wii name at first, and now its totally grown on me. At this point, i just want some of those killer games that never looked in the Wii's direction, i dont care if theyre a few years old. I can get over a bad name, a lot easier than getting over no 3rd titles.
In a way its already a "transitional" platform. It can play all my Wii games, all my VC games, and i can still use my Classic Controller Pro. Having a forward and backward compatible console would be amazing though.
Yea they can. I just hope that i win too. Being a hardcore gamer that only owns a Wii is not easy.
Another Nintendo is doomed article. Why does it seem like everyone wants Nintendo to fail? Nintendo has brought so much to video games, i cant understand it.
Im curious, what Zelda game features guest appearances by Zelda fanboys? How can you hate a game just to spite people that love it? Thats so lame.
No offense, but, how are you a Zelda fanboy if you're not even gonna to TRY Skyward Sword? You wouldnt even buy the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess, instead you just sold your Wii.
Its not your fault. The word "fanboy" gets thrown around way too much.
awesome!
thanx.
Lame article. They ask 1 WiiU question, and then proceed to bashing the Wii. Well maybe theyre right about Nintendo fans, who knows? Honesty, i had no intention on buying their game if it did release to the WiiU.
Minish Cap was cool, but definitely not anywhere near as good as my top 3 (A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask).
Nice article (i love Zelda!), but i disagree with the amount significance given to Minish Cap. i think that A Link to the Past has always been the most influential Zelda title (the hookshot, the dual world theme, and describing the events of the Seal War).
LOL
Nintendo of America. They always give ya that "i dont know what the hell is going on" feeling dont they?
Its truly sad, if not for Skyward Sword there would be zero quality titles due out for the Wii this year. Nintendo of America wont even throw a few imports our way to satisfy us until the WiiU comes out.
