"...you have 2 disagree(s) so far. They (there) will be more."
I know, it just tears me up inside. But i didnt comment to win popularity contest or fit in. I replied because you have no idea what you're talking about. Allow me to explain:
"anyhow, NES and SNES have nothing to do with the 3D era"
Yea... i know. I thought we were talking about the "core" era. A hardcore g...
Im confident that the United States will be getting this and Last Story. Xenoblade is just too good. All of the postive reviews mean a lot to me. Let's just hope that Nintendo of America is looking at the something other than sales as a determining factor to bring this game to the US.
Nintendo's first step into the core gaming industry?
You cant be serious... Please tell me that you're around 6 years old. Because i assume that you have never heard of the NES, SNES, N64, or the Gamecube. Believe it or not, Nintendo has been around long before Wii Sports.
Skyward Sword is looking pretty good. i wouldnt be surprised if it's an instant hit on day 1.
25th anniversary... last first party game on the Wii (w/ the exception of Kirby... maybe). Who knows?
Now i really regret not buying that Goldeneye 007 Gold Classic Controller Pro.
Nice.
Great ideas. Brawl online definitely needs improvements, but, i think that customization is really the only way to expand a game series like Smash Bros.. Im sure that they wiill think of something.
But if we're going to have to start waiting this long between Smash Bros. games, then DLC may not be a bad idea either.
I think both.
I think that they said mid September.
No details/facts on Super Mario World?
Nice.
Soul Silver is my favorite.
"We can make core games".
Nintendo needs more "core" games, however, i have never questioned Nintendo's ability to make those core titles. Nintendo owns more "core" first party titles than both of their competitors.
The Legend of Zelda is my favorite game series. I am currently (re)beating all of the titles in order, to celebrate the 25th anniversary. I also love all things Mario, Metroid, and Smash Bros..
@Farsendor1
"never said pokemon was for snes read my freaking comment"
Your original comment never mentioned the SUPER GAMEBOY Adapter Cartridge.
"pokemon came out in 96 pokemon was playable on snes with the SUPER GAMEBOY Adapter Cartridge"
Ummm ok? so i guess it was availabe on the SNES. It just depends on how you look at it. I certainly didnt mean to upset you. I honestly didnt know about the SUP...
lol.
Funny, but i dont think "hardcore" gamers go outside.
Nice.
But there's no way im paying for online services. I want Nintendo to catch up with online gaming too, but in the days of DLC and Netflix, it feels like such a rip off. Sony doesnt charge for online services, and they have done fine this gen. Im getting a WiiU, but there is no way i will pay for services that another console offers for free.
Bring it on iPad!
pokemon was on the SNES?
Nice.
Sounds like you're gonna have a nice holiday. No StarFox?
Nice.
Great list! I personally prefer Zelda: A Link to the Past over Super Metroid, but why split hairs. They are both epic beyond words. However i am shocked that the original StarFox didnt make the cut. I also thought that The Legend of the Mystical Ninja was worthy of a spot.
Nice.
Been following this game for a very long while now. Thanx.
I agree 100%. The reviews are in and NoA has officially dropped the ball. The good news is that Xenoblade will probably sell well enough to make it stateside. Bad news, who knows about Last Story and Pandora's Tower.
But yea, NoA is on my sh*t list too. If you're not ready to hack your Wii and start importing yet, then give it a few more months. Im sure we'll get some good news around the holidays.
