The freedom to fight Bosses more than once really made Majora's Mask shine. I am glad that they are bringing that back with Boss Mode.

Some gamers want Nintendo to fail. There seems to be this strange assumption that if Nintendo fails, then they will go 3rd party. All of those brilliant IPs up for grabs. Although the joke is on them, Nintendo will never go 3rd party.
But that is the only logical, secure reason that i can think of. Nintendo has brought so much to the industry, and continues to do so.

I agree with what you said about the value of having all the old (classic) games on Virtual Console. I have always been a sucker for nostalgia myself.
As a Nintendo fanboy i want to be mad (my Wii doesnt look like ass!), but i can't. You bought both the Wii and the 360... and you liked the 360 a lot more. There's no crime in that. I also agree with what you said about the game drought. I am definitely picking up Zelda in November. But unless Xenoblade and Last Story...

How can you say that you don't look for consoles to innovate? Do you have any idea how much controllers have changed since home consoles were first released? Power is important. But without innovation we would currently be playing Pong in 1080p.
3rd party developers will do their best. But the console owners are responsible for guiding them. If they didnt, then all consoles would be exactly alike.
I am not certain of who said it, maybe Miyamoto, hinted that Pikmin 3 would be available for the WiiU at launch. I dont have the interview anymore, wish i did, i would post it here for you.

That was an interesting statement that Aonuma made about Zelda 3DS, a title where "3D will mean something". Hmmm, maybe they could do something similar to the Lens of Truth in Ocarina of Time. Except this time the lens works like 3D glasses. Or maybe a fully 3D dungeon.
Its hard to say, especially since the health risk warns not to use the 3D effects longer than 20 minutes or so.
