Better and better.

Nice read.

The Twinrova and Wind Waker Ganon battles are absolutely epic! Although my personal favorite is the Ganon battle from Twilight Princess.

Can't wait, sounds nice.

It would be cool if Ghirahim's boss is Majora.

Yea, Olivia Munn was the only reason that i kept watching G4.

5363d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

The person that posted this obviously has more knowledge of Skyward Sword than Adam and Morgan (surprised anyone?).

Personally, i don't watch G4 anymore. Infact the only thing that i can remember about Morgan Webb, besides being hot, is that she hates Nintendo.

It blows my mind that they could claim that the gameplay hasn't changed since Ocarina of Time. Funny, i don't seem to remember Motion Plus, an Upgrade system, 100 Plus Hours, Second Quest, ...

Yea, but eventually i would like to see both. As perfectly as Pokemon Snap could work on the WiiU, i cannot stop thinking about how incredibe an RPG or MMO would be with the extra screen.

"The majority of third party games on the Wii were shovelware...so i'll believe it when I see it happen."

Unless you consider Metro: Last Light and Darksiders 2 to be "shovelware", then that statement has nothing to do with this article.

"...expecting me to put faith into most of those third party companies to attempt to do that, when they just jumped straight into the Wii for JUST money."

LOL. As oppos...

LOL.

Look at all the hate... i absolutely love it.

The WiiU is definitely packing power. I cannot wait to see upgraded Nintendo first party classics in 1080p. Games like: Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl already looked amazing on the Wii, so you know we are in for a treat.

Nice to see Majora's Mask in the number 2 spot (it is a fantastic game that is often overlooked).

Nice.

I have the same 5 games on my list, but in a different order. I did, however, place Ocarina of Time in my number 1 spot. With the exception of A Link to the Past, I have always felt that the 3D Zelda titles were better games.

5. Twilight Princess
4. Wind Waker
3. Majora's Mask
2. A Link to the Past (personal favorite)

1. Ocarina of Time

Honestly... i just don't feel the need to buy a 3DS now. I love Ocarina of Time and Starfox 64, but we both know that the best is yet to come (holiday). And we both know that Nintendo is not afraid to sell 2 handhelds alongside each other. If you haven't bought a 3DS by now, then why not wait for a remodel? I am already hearing rumors about a 2012 release.

Nice read.

I completely agree with what you said about the 3DS. I am gonna wait it out for a remodeled version with standard dual circle pads. In the long run, however, i predict that the 3DS will do extremely well. With strong third party support, and Nintendo's first party juggernauts, the 3DS can't lose. It's the same story for the WiiU. If you bring the games, then people will buy the console. Not everybody... but enough people.

Nintendo i...

Is there some kind of logic in not "rebooting" classic titles (from last gen at that)? I can understand criticism of remakes, but that is about it.

Yes, game series can be overexposed, and people will eventually get tired of them. But you cannot make me believe that you've never played, or at least rented, a sequel.

Game series like Mario and Zeda being released every gen isn't a sign of failure. If anything it proves that these games st...

Good read.

It is such a tough question to answer. The tech has not really gone anywhere since 3D glasses. Of course i am saying all of this before the 3DS holiday launch... who knows?

I used to joke with an old friend of mine (a 360 fanboy... good guy). I would tell him that Nintendo would be the first company to offer a Virtual Reality console. 3D Rad Racer on the NES, Virtual Boy, Motion Gaming. Nintendo is up to something.

Do they have Sable? I didn't read the article (lame, i know). I am not gonna buy the game, just curious. Back in the day, she was the only reason i watched Monday Night RAW.

Man i love Nintendo. They're like that one special ex girlfriend. She drives you crazy, taking you to hell and back. And just when you're about to walk away from her (again!)... she does something AWESOME!!!

Don't get me wrong, the Wii had some good games. But this... this is something truly epic (AWESOME!!!).

Sorry, had to respond. A Link to the Past is my favorite too! I thought i was all alone in the world... LOL.

But seriously, A Link to the Past totally set the standard.

Great article!

Gamers always seem to show their age whenever discussing anything Nintendo. I am a proud "core" Nintendo fanboy. Been gaming since 1988, and i have never owned a console that wasn't a Nintendo. If you were not gaming during the NES/SNES games then i don't expect you to understand. I grew up on Super Mario, Zelda, Pokemon and Metroid. I grew up with these games... and these games grew up with me! It is a great feeling. A feeling that you just...

Well said. NoA has always been there problem. US Nintendo fanboys are on N4G blogging all night; Japanese Nintendo fanboys are actually playing their Nintendos: Xenoblade, Last Story, Fatal Frame etc..
