Agreed, and very well said.
As always it is a pleasure, and a privilege, my friend.
P.S.

It's funny because Iwata could simply crush you like a insect, with his wallet, if he wanted to.
I know that you have said "that" many times before, but what does that have to do with this article?
I am trying to be less confrontational (2 positives, then a negative)...
Postive: I think that I know what you are trying to say, "stick with your base". I respect, and agree with that statement. The music industry is a great example. Imo too many artist/bands sound completely different by their 2nd or 3rd albums. There is nothing in this world that turns a "true fan" off more, than betrayal.
Positive: The video game industry owes their ri...
@ ThePsychoGamer
First, I am member of this site just like you are. The fact that I am a proud fanboy does not prohibit me from having an opinion. As a member, I have the right to respond to whoever the hell I want. So, don't start the sad violin music just yet.
I don't just attack anyone (or everyone for that matter). The only reason that you have been getting my attention recently is because we're old friends. After all, I see you in almost ever...
Lmao @ "the WiiU has already failed, failed gamers.".
At long last, we agree on something! You are definitely a "failed gamer" in my eyes.
Yea... it is sad, but also quite funny.
This gen, Nintendo committed a crime that "these people" will never forgive them for. Nintendo outsmarted them. The Wii and DS, with inferior hardware, kicked ass this gen. (And) None of these so-called experts ever saw it coming.
Imo too many people have equated bashing Nintendo with having knowledge about the video game industry. Just look at "analyst" Michael Patcher. In any other profession, Patc...
Rayman Legends TBA? That is so disappointing! I guess that I will be putting that money towards the Controller Pro, and the Virtual Console. Sorry Ubi.
Right now, for me, it looks like it's just going to be New Super Mario Bros. U and Tekken Tag 2 come launch time. ZombiU and Aliens CM look awesome, but FPS really just aren't my thing anymore.
Man, times have really changed.
Can't wait for the new X-COM.
@Raiinstorm81
Fair enough, and my mistake.
The quotation marks around "next gen" gave me the wrong impression. If your not a graphics whore then good for you, me too.
To be honest, the entire statement left me with the impression that, according to you, a console version of a game is supposed to be significantly better than the handheld counterpart.
I personally believe that this is only an absolute truth for the gr...
I didn't care for Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Sunshine, but yea... Bubble+.
You said it so well, the quality is always there. Super Mario has withstood the test of time without a scratch.
Iwata is talking in terms of gameplay and features, not graphics.
...It's in the first sentence.
Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 are my personal favorites too. I am sure that you hear this all of the time, but you would really like New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
If you can manage to round up 3 other 2D Mario junkies, it's a lot of fun. I had a good group, and we played it to completion. We unlocked everything in the game in just 2 days.
Cute.
I think DS EVERYONE? 3DS EVERYONE? would be more appropriate.
You comment as if the DS and 3DS sell poorly. The DS sold more units than the Wii! Imo Nintendo would be extremely fortunate to have DS type sales for the WiiU.
Furthermore, how can something be a "novelty" gimmick when it's been "done before" (your words, not mine)?
Nice.
That sounds so cool.
Yea... the exact same way that the Classic Controller provides no frame drop for the Wii, dummy.
More than a controller you say? You mean like having 3rd party exclusives, HD games, and a network available at launch?
If you read the entire quote, and not just the title, it doesn't sound that way at all.
“We’re all gamers as well and we appreciate the interest of those [hardcore] gamers, and we don’t want them to feel left out, so we’re making big strides and changes in that area.”
Nice read.
