That shade of blue looks different from the others. It's almost like a neon green. It kind of makes my head hurt.
Nice read, and awesome trailer.
I love the turn based genre, but I am so impressed at how much the action looks like real time. Imo the only way to possibly improve upon the original X-Com was updating the graphics. I really cannot say enough about the new look. It's truly gorgeous. I know that I don't speak for everyone, but this remains my most anticipated game of 2012.
LMAO
I've never heard that one, very funny.

Sounds like good news.
The fact that Retro Studios "wasn't ready" at E3, screamed new IP.
Retro invented the entire Prime concept. Metroid Prime is also a proven series that speaks for itself. I doubt that it would be considered for the "overhaul treatment". The article claims that Retro has had kits for quite some time. So, how long does it take to produce a 30 second clip? Retro Studios is incapable of this level of incompetence.
Prime 4 may come eventua...
I hope that Reggie's armor is flame-retardant.
False.
Those are the pre-order dates. You cannot pre-order a game the day that it is released! All of the October dates are also marked "Prebooked", and TBD. They don't even have any Nintendo titles listed.
It's dangerous to go alone! Take this.
Bubble + Well said.
Agreed, new or revived IPs should come first.
Although, just because Skyward Sword was worth the wait doesn't mean it takes 5-6 years to make a great Zelda title. Majora's Mask was a masterpiece, and was released only 2 years after Ocarina of Time.
Was that question, joke, or action?
Anyway, you already can play Nintendo franchises on other services... I do. All that you need is a PC, a reliable emulator, and rom files.
Bubble + Helpful?

Agreed, Tekken and Smash Bros. are two very different interpretations of the same genre. I hope that Nintendo chose wisely too, but why not Namco?
Namco has been in the industry even longer than Nintendo. I had no idea that Namco had even been in the fighting genre for 15 years (it blew my mind).
@ MikeCosgrove
I cannot wait until your hypocricy is finally exposed.
You talk all of that silly BS about "opinions", and yet, whenever you are challenged (in a Nintendo channel) you cry to the mods like a little baby and get good members bubbled down.
Mike, stop trying to provoke me. You are really not that interesting. Being "bored to death" is just an expression. You're not really hurting me, ya know?
I'm starting to understand why you have LOL in your name. You're a really "funny" guy.
So... will the WiiU keep up with 2 systems that haven't even been announced yet? Yea, that must be the real question for other "funny guys" like yourself.
Oh, I just thought of a better question! Will the 720 and PS4 be able to keep up with the Wii3, Xbox 1440, and PS5? Hell, since we are just grabbing phantom consoles out of thin air, for ou...

-"Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the only reason for the price cut only because wasn't selling well in the first place.
Also you delusional if you think the Vita is to expensive, just look at the tech that's behind the system."
You're not wrong about the 3DS price drop, but you did miss my point. Although it is true that Nintendo dropped the 3DS price to boost sales, no short term profit was...
Nice read.
Namco definitely has the experience in the fighter genre, but I think that they were chosen to provide a modern online experience. Imo online multiplayer is the only area where Super Smash Bros. is lacking.
Agreed, I totally want this.
Very cool.
They haven't announced a Pokemon title for the 3DS yet, so here's hoping.

"Nintendo is just a company about making profit. They really don't care about the customers at all and it really disgust me that other people don't see that."
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Nintendo drop the price of the 3DS within the first 6 months? Furthermore, all early adopters were eligible for an Ambassador's Reward program. It only cost Nintendo their first annual loss ever! But ...
Agreed, and well said.
Nintendo Power has been out since like 1988. Imo that's a good run for a magazine, and a huge run for a video game mag.
