Not really console API already did and do the same thing, allowing developers to go to the bone of the console. Though it seems that mantle API seems to be somewhat dependant to AMD architecture it is open source and could even be used by Nvidia.
This could be a boom/great news for pc gamers and steam meaning more competition from pc's for the ps4 and xb1.
Streaming full games cost more bandwidth compared to simply using the cloud for calculations and sending the 'answers' of those calculations to said device. This however does mean that fast calculations will not be offloaded to the cloud but only slower calculations such as AI.
Streaming services such as gaikai require more bandwidth than what Microsoft is doing at the moment.
I like what sony is doing with f2play games, if it will stay unique to ps4 only time will tell, also like the way games and apps are not behind pay wall.

Seems like xbox has low brand awareness in Japan.
The ps4 does not have an hdmi in solution or an ir blaster. So you cannot connect your set-up box to the ps4 and control it with the help of an ir-blaster.
So not exactly however Sony will offer digital tv.

looks good I really hated the loading times between areas and the set time limit in the previous DR3. Also nice to see that zombies do seem to look different from each-other.

True though bringing a console to my parents house or to a friends house is not really a standard situation for me that is.
I really see the psvita tv as a device for an secondary television and streaming stuff, which would be a suitable reason for me to by one. But I do not see bringing it to other people houses as a reason for me to by one.

I can see it being used on a second screen in a secondary room or maybe as a cost effective means of sharing your ps4 with a friend.
Even though the ps4 is bigger than the psvita tv, it is still possible to take it to a friends or your family place, reducing possible lag issues.
Its already confirmed it won't be a first party jrpg.

It is not known whether these are virtual and if so how many. But looking at known facts,they have and are heavily investing in servers and data processing and are in the top 3 investing companies next to amazone and google.
Closest comparison I remember was an increase from 15.000 servers for the xbox360 to 300.000 servers in 2013-2014 (for the xboxone) which ´according to microsoft´ was comparable to the total worlds computing power in 1999&#...
Its not his expertise so he probably just got some numbers of someone from the guys who build the interior of the box. I like the guy for going out of his way trying to communicate with us gamers.

Its hard to compare at the moment there is more info available on the custom chip design of the xb1 compared to the ps4. They will need to explain these things if both consoles are indeed comparable in specs.
