Seems to me that the xb1 designers were pressured to design their box with possible overheating and reliability in mind.
With the box being larger using a bigger fan and being less powerfull it should be less likely to overheat and also quiter due to large fan.
People don't seem to have high expectations of the game next to the graphics. Hope we will be pleasantly surprised.
In my experience I find AA batteries better solution than recharcheable pack. Offers more flexibility. When replacing batteries I always swap them from my batterycharger. Also not that expansive to buy more or if needed better recharcheable batteries.
Depends on how many they have produced. Previous launches have shown that consoles tend to get sold out at their launch dates.
There is a differece between 720 and 1080 p, visual differemce isn't huge. It however does require quit a lot more hardware resources.
Ofcourse it also depends on the size and viewing distance of the television.

Would assume any decent manufacturing line has some quality controll allong the line of the production and assembly of the product.
Why bad news. So even if sony offerd some developpers a better deal in order to have their games on the consoles, it is not that uncommon for Sony or Microsoft to pay or in this case offer a better deal to get a game or additional dlc on their platform.
I agree that the kinect is defenitly part of the xbox 1 proposition. Esspecially with the overall kinect integration outside of games such as media and television. It has been reported other companies such as google and apple also might be working on similar solutions to browse media. Seems like Microsoft now for once finally is a step ahead of apple.

True resolution matters and ps4 seems to have the resolution edge, butthat does not make a game better in all cases.
Exagerated example but a 1080p pong fame won't be better than a 720p pong game, simply to make a point that there are more variables when considering graphics.
Number wise it can and should be expected that there might be some issues.
5 or 6 certainly is not widespread.
Though the 5-6 known are reported instances this does not mean that there have been only 5-6 instances, it might be 40 which would still be less than 1%. So at the moment it is just pure speculation if there are widespread hardware or software problem.
It seems like they are starting to do better with their listining to complaints, launch titles, showcasing of games on visible retail units, showing against rumours a working os and even the impressions of the new kinect were far more positive than I expected. Also compared to their introduction they now seem more indie friendly.

Kinda strange that they gave knack a 6 witch is on the mark when looking at the average on metacritics.
Cannot really imagine knack beeing better than killzone a 5. Polygon did seem to like resogun which they gave a 8.5.

They are working on a patch for the ps4 version so we have to wait and see if that will fix the frame-rate issue.
Will probably be limited not likely you will be able to find it in the bargain bin. I am to much of a cheap-ass to buy limitied editions anyway.

Pretty sure both xb1 and pc use the cloud. If you have a good high end gaming pc it probably will look better on the pc.
