I played this game for 100+ hours, and I still wanna replay it in VR. The fact that they are still porting this game in any way makes me hopeful that it’ll make the jump to VR one day.

Fingers crossed for a remaster on PSVR2 🤞

Oh, and Infinite is everything I’ve been hoping for since 2007, thanks 343i!

Hazard Zone has a ton of potential, and it pains me to think that the mode might not be supported if this game dies before the patches are finished in a year.

And where the Hell is the Dualsense support? Between that and the lack of ANY voice comms, this game feels like the most desperate attempt to barely launch a game in time for the holiday season.

This game could have been great if they waited a year to release it, and just scrapped the last gen vers...

@Witchcraft, how about you glance at the user reviews for the games you listed, and lmk how they compare to GoT’s ;)

Idk, Quantum Break had alotta creative freedom, and it ended up distracting from their stellar shooting mechanics.

I love Control’s world, but the on-point feel of the guns makes it outstanding for me.

Imo, focussing on a game that is more of a straight-shooter is a slam dunk opportunity for them. Remedy’s creativity is part of their identity, but imo their games can be even better without it (assuming they are strictly shooters).

I’m glad to hear that! I think Infinite will be tough to topple as king, assuming it plays as well as it looks. I guess we’ll see 🤞

@sumblaoh first off, Inside isn’t an exclusive. Secondly, if you played any of those games, then you’d know that they are anything but AC rip offs. The only thing they have in common with them is that they’re open world and third-person.

And I have an Xbox. I bought one before the PS4. I’m very aware of what each console offers. Xbox offers a deal with Game Pass, and Sony offers more AAA exclusives that people want to play.

Stop being a fanboy and ho...

But if they wait too long to announce it, people would’ve forgotten about FC6 entirely 🤭

Cool. Wish it was for ps5, but maybe this and Infinite will finally push Sony to invest more equally in MP vs SP games. Or not, and I’ll just finally have excuses to play both consoles evenly.

I thought OG Xbox was more indicative of the Xbox brand’s promise than the X360. The former’s Live service made it better for many than the best selling console in history, the latter was the platform where the brand first started to decline (started very strong, ended very weak).

The scores for those games do not compare to PS4 exclusives. They just don’t. You are biased for trying to equate their quality.

Xbox has nothing that compares to Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, God of War, or Last of Us. Albeit, Sony does not have anything that compares to Infinite. If I were you, I’d have made that point instead. But, if you did, I would’ve been quick to point out that Infinite released a LONG time after Halo 3 (the last big Halo game, objectively). Thi...

Disaster, or typical? I feel like all MP games that rush to make the holiday launch window end up needing weekly patches until the spring.

The one thing I hate is the lack of voice comms… wtf Dice? How is HZ supposed to succeed with only your basic ping system to coordinate with? Is it really THAT hard to allow game chat?

Uhhhhh, do 343 and the Coalition consistently put out system-selling exclusives? Output is everything. Sony has output, and Xbox has not for a full decade (since Gears 3 launched 9/2011).

I loved Xbox, but they stopped making great games. I’m eagerly awaiting for the Zenimax deal to course correct this, but great games take years to make.

I thought the OG Xbox’s Live offerings, when paired with Halo 2, made Xbox the place to be a gamer. If anything, the 360’s reliance on Cliffy B and 343 Studios showed me that the Xbone would not have any decent exclusives.

Xbox has shown that creating a sub service, and then losing money via marketing deals for said new sub service is easier and cheaper than establishing a stable of reliable game studios like Sony and Nintendo have.

Lol why do humans enjoy ideological bubbles so much. We just need to know that we’re right, regardless of how.

1547d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I’ve enjoyed them, and I chose OG Xbox over PS2. Xbox just had better games, at the time. It’s a shame times have changed, because I used to enjoy Xbox’s output more.

I mean, I’m cool with just awesome exclusives…. Games are how I choose a console. I want the best, and Sony has given the best for some time now.

Then I’d suggest spreading out sequels by at least 3-5 years, and just find ways to improve the sequel. When sequels are sparse, a modest amount of meaningful improvements/additions are enough for fans. It’s about quality over quantity of changes.

Halo 2 and 3 were great sequels because they improved on the previous entry without losing their identity. Franchises have difficulty with this lately because studios don’t have THEIR OWN visions for the sequel that necessitate...
