Imagine if MGS3 got the Demons Souls treatment 🤤
Lol nobody would overpay for a ps5 packaged with an X on the side.
It depends on the game? Death Stranding wasn’t as slow paced as some people think. You need to watch every step, because a lot can trip you and send your deliveries tumbling. It wasn’t a game of constant action, but it was a game that constantly engaged.
By contrast, I do as much running in BF 2042 as I did in DS, but I can space out as I sprint across a map to a BF objective, I can disengage from the game for significant periods of time. DS actually doesn’t allow tha...
“Silent Cartographer but bigger”
Perfect, I see 343i got my emails :)
Let’s focus on the gameplay, because Halo hasn’t been a face-melting graphical showcase since Halo 2.
The gameplay is FINALLY back. Thank you 343i!
The destruction is pretty tame. I think they thought tornados would make up for not having more walls to take down.
If the ps5 is already on, then I can be swinging as Spider-Man in literally 10 seconds.
Why would I want to spend 30-40 seconds getting and inserting the disc?
Ehh, you’re right, but I assumed that anybody dedicated enough to finding a ps5 could also handle R6. Definitely a huge learning curve, but a great ps5 deal. The easier terrorist hunt solo mode is probably worth the $10 alone.
Bugs can be fixed, and visions can be adjusted. It’s a 3/5 right now for me, but I expect that to change In a year. The product is certainly unfinished, but that doesn’t mean it lacks vision.
No I don’t. I can start any digital game in literally less time than it would take for me to just walk to my shelf of games. With the SSD, it’s now a complete waste of time to insert discs.
I’d be okay with it if they balanced weapon possession with movement speed. Otherwise, why not always carry an RPG and a sniper?
Well said Ted Cruz?
Everyone who struggled to get a ps5 should struggle to beat Returnal as well. It’s my favorite ps5 game. It’s a very unique game, and it might support the controller the best.
I recommend mapping jump and dash to the bumpers.
Also, Rainbow Six Siege makes great use of the triggers, and it is often super cheap (I grabbed for $10).
I still stand by my stance, with slight alterations: The game is free, so get ready to pay for cosmetics if you really WANT (not “need”) them.
If it creates a hole in your heart not having a super cool cosmetic behind a paywall, then tough. That feeling of incompleteness and yearning is how the hardworking devs plan to turn a profit. It’s not a good feeling, but not getting everything you want is part of being an adult. Pay for it, or get over it. The FREE game is still...
Ffs, it’s a F2P game, and all of the MX’s are for pure cosmetics.
Until any of those cosmetics start giving players advantages over others, there isn’t a MX problem.
Stop crying, you babies. If you want the cool helmet, then accept that you need to grind for it. You don’t NEED it, so stop acting entitled to it.
This is how the F2P product model works. 343i did a fine job of applying it to Halo. Sure, it takes a while to finish battl...
Albeit, I think Tarantino’s level of creative freedom never pushed him to make something completely bonkers and niche like Death Stranding. That game is pure pent up creativity, and I love every step of it.
Ffs, just cut the character…. Does anybody want a shield/CQC character in a BF game anyways? It’s supposed to be warfare on a large scale, so it feels like a waste of a specialist being so CQC-focused.
Lol, I played everything but Portal. And I only enjoyed HZ when I found people to party chat with (it’s now my favorite BR. The extraction mechanic is way better than the circle mechanic).
Accurate comparison. The only difference is that Tarantino did whatever he wanted with his career, and Konami and Kojima fans did the equivalent of forcing Tarantino to make Reservoir Dogs sequels for his entire career.
There’s plenty of room to criticize a big franchise that rushes to get a game out before the holiday launch window, but… Portal and HZ are purty new, right?
