Hey EA: nobody will buy another Battlefield game if 2042 doesn’t end up immaculate in the near future. You don’t have the brand loyalty of CoD with console gamers. People will remember this letdown for years.
Finish what you started before biting off more to chew. If I see an ad for a new BF for next year before 2042 is fixed, then I will get my $100 refunded.
One is a team brawler, and the other is an open-world version of NYC. That alone sets them apart.

You have all of the sports-games money, get your shit together EA. There’s no excuse for you of all companies consistently shipping betas as games.
You can just buy the battle pass for $10, and unlock the cosmetics years from now.
I know F2P creates fomo, but adults should be more comfortable with fomo. This is THE cost of the game since it is 100% free to play.

The game would be a great showcase for ps5 graphics, too. I think they could do split screen and still hit a high watermark.

Yeah, to be fair, Xbox doesn’t set that high of a bar. Hopefully Infinite motivates Sony to make a few MP franchises, too.
Game Pass will be a competitor one day. Imo that’s really why the XsS exists. I’ll get my kids Nintendo because I’ll love them, but I know alotta other cheap and heartless parents.

It would be neat if the game forced snipers to actually line up their sights for half a second… quick scoping has always been immersion breaking for me.
Keep aim assist and bloom low so that hit registration feels accurate.
And add Dualsense support, ffs…
