Exactly…. And it specifically said that it’ll save me a USB port, which I can’t really spare
I’ve been trying since CliffyB left.
As long as my friends can play CoD and Madden on Xbox, they’d rather keep their achievements on one system.
They don’t care about GoT, GoW, Spider-Man, or LoU. They are all see them as single player games that can be hammered out in 6 months collectively whenever, and not multiplayer games like Halo that are enjoyed ONLY during limited windows of time; which they are not wrong about…
I’m hoping Fa...
I think you underestimate the depth of GoW’s rune and armor customization, and you just suck at the combat if guys are always attacking you from behind (crowd control is a key part of GoW combat).
Elden Ring does have a pretty expansive map though. And I think it’s more of a 300 hour game, where GoW is closer to 30-60, and 100 hours if you try the hardest difficulty.
For me, the cinematic nature of the bosses in GoW is why it is a GOTY contender. They a...
Grabbed the charging station too 🤘
Yeah I am the sorta jerk to just call their friends Xbots and encourage them to buy a ps5 to play with me….
Xbots forget what it was like to have Halo 3, Gears, and Fable.
If you don’t miss those franchises as an Xbox owner, then you are not a true gamer. You are just a sheep submitting to Phil’s gaslighting.
If I had to chose only one though, it wouldn’t be the sub route….
I haven’t played Elden Ring yet, because I’m only half way through Demons Souls’ remake, but it does look amazing.
I did beat Horizon 2 on Very Hard, and I was thoroughly impressed with the combat. It’s nice to play a game where I am not going for headshots OR roll dodging to hit a giant boss’ tail or Achilles’ tendons.
If you want a souls-like experience, Horizon 2 on Very Hard delivers; you’ll love dodging one-hit-kill swings from a robot trex's ta...
It tied Elden Ring, so objectively they BOTH deserve to be mentioned in the title EQUALLY as much
*”God of War, Elden Ring, AND Horizon 2 lead for noms”
Delay and polish M$ 🤞
I don’t like the idea of a literal ghost city…. Even if RE4 and Evil Within are classics
I’m a little bothered by how a bipod in the game right is locked behind the Victis XMR sniper, which has just been revealed to be locked behind a battle pass….
Please fix that, all current unlocks should be tied ONLY to guns initially packaged with my original $100 purchase 2 weeks ago…
Because M$ needs to score points with their base while they watch ANOTHER great game come to ps5, while they still wait for Starfield.
I think the devs underestimated the composer’s impact on the game.
I 100% noticed that Doom Eternal’s mix didn’t have the same punch I remembered from 2016’s score.
The music wasn’t bad, but it did feel flatter.
I wish they would have been willing to delay the game for the soundtrack.
For serious guys, Doom Eternal’s ONLY blemish was the downgrade in mixing of the score.
Feel free to patch it, plent...
I gotta admit, I didn’t read the article before commenting. I saw a comment that mentioned Dante’s Inferno, and assumed that was the best mention.
Now that I’ve skimmed the article, I gotta saw that I wouldn’t compare most of these games to GoW. The least of which would be Last of Us and Uncharted 4.
Lol.
Oh yeah?
How ‘bout “yes”, and for the reasons I outlined above.
Just make DMZ work….
The combat isn’t BETTER than GoW, neither are the enemies…. What makes it better? I loved the level design, but GoW wins on every other front for me.
@gamingsense, what I said was “ But GoWR shows me what games can do in the future. I like innovation over refinement, personally”
I meant that to mean GoWR innovates with its cinematic fights, and ER is focused on refining classic game mechanics (aka From software mechanics, as some generations would view them)
