Yeah, I’d like to know how the gap compares to Xbone & 360 years. The OG Xbox numbers are kinda moot because the ps2 dominated (and I personally don’t know how…)
Go on…
Maybe it’s just me, but this really doesn’t mean much to me without the competitors for comparison.
I think they can take themes that were more front and center for Part 2 than 1, and mesh them perfectly into a MP game.
Now you’re not just murdering NPCs with heart beats and names, you’re cyber-murdering actual people with cyber-families that need the supplies you’re skirmishing with them over in order to cyber-survive.
That feels 100% in line with both Parts 1&2… what am I missing?
People still play it, it is still great, you don’t know what you’re talking about.
It’s great to hear that the ps5 is so easy to dev for, but then shouldn’t this game have looked better after 6-7 years in production? That’s among the longer dev times I’ve seen….
Yeah I think Bungie is either out of ideas, or saving them for the future.
Considering what Sony paid, I’d bet the latter, but that’s just me having faith in Sony. Aside from Forspoken, I can’t recall a bad bet made by Sony.
Good, Control was really cool and unique, not to mention addictively fun.
I hope they do something cool with today’s hardware like the time machine in QB.
Maybe because Hi Fi Rush is a project that feels loved from it’s inception, and Forspoken feels like an attempt to just make a marketable game?
-Spider-Man sold the best on ps4, so I guess we need a game with elaborate traversal mechanics.
-And AC has dominated as it pivoted towards RPGs, so let’s make sure it has skill trees, too.
-and RT is big right now, so heap on crazy post particle effects for combat.
-and cultu...
@FF:
Lucky you (:
My friends bought XsX the very first quarter, same with their Xbones.
I got a ps5 even faster, and that did nothing to dissuade them.
They believe in Game Pass…
I wonder how this game feels without adaptive triggers. For me, that allowed a game mechanic where you had to keep your cool under pressure in order to avoid wasting your Ult shot.
And, at the same time, this also made finally squeezing the LT to fully release the Ult all the more satisfying to do.
Is this lost at all with M&K?
Why not? What has changed?
And it feels amazing to hear my friends FINALLY acknowledge the drought as their XsXs start their third year without a system-selling game…
It sounds like M$’ patience are finally catching up with fans.
Hopefully they release a black version 🤞
Idiots.
But their handwork is paying off… so I wanna compensate for my failures by buying my way through to success.
How else do you overcome a decade+ game drought… by making games?!?
*even* better? Wasn’t it met with mixed impressions, at best?
Really?
I’m gonna buy Dead Space too, but i am going to have to make myself finish Callisto. It doesn’t have the same depth as Dead Space.
