It seems like a cross between Dead Space and The Suffering, which I think are the same devs.
The Suffering demo still creeps me out thinking about it, so I like that direction.
Yeah this is why I didn’t want Game Pass.

It’s not big, it’s 5 hours.
And it’s not bold, every mission has been done before in other games like Uncharted and Last of Us, or the last MW.
Nothing compared to the OG MW campaign.

As the games FINALLY arrive, there is just no way that GP stays profitable without a price increase.
The idea is to get large groups of friends all subscribing together, discussing content together, then see how profitable they can make it with incremental price hikes.
It’s a form of testing their price elasticity, and they will need to try the moment they can argue that the value has gone up as well (ie the games arrive).
No shit, it runs off the SSD, not the disc, and who buys CoD without an internet connection?
I just hate Game Pass…. I’ve always chosen quality over quantity, so I hoped Starfield would end up being an example of the former, for once….

Starfield is hyped, but the gameplay didn’t impress me.

The campaign is good, not great, mostly because it is unoriginal.
If you played Uncharted 2 or 4, then you likely won’t be as impressed as others.
But if you never played those games, then you are bound to like some parts more. Same if you never played any other MW campaigns, because the best levels in this latest entry are blatant callbacks to past “greatest hits”.

That’s fine considering that it is 1 of like 6 modes, but there’s a reason DLC is planned…
So much of this campaign was done in other games already:
1) The best missions were callbacks to previous MW campaigns.
2) The car chase was an inferior recreation of 3-4 different car chases across Uncharted 2-LL, and the upside down part was done in LoU Uncharted 4 (basically).
3) The moving cargo containers were already done in Uncharted 2&3
4) the safe cracking and backpack crafting were already done better in LoU 1&2
5) sever...
The pointed out that the campaign is more of a tutorial for new Warzone mechanics than a standalone story. And, all of the best action set pieces have been done before but better in other games already.
I beat it over the weekend, and I thought the best parts were in the first half.
The OG MW campaign had at least a half dozen GREAT moments, this campaign might’ve had two.
Clearly you didn’t play GoW 2018.
