It clearly has DLC in mind.

This 1st part felt like a demo for all of the game mechanics possible in Warzone 2, so I hope the DLC 2nd part is more focused on being new and different, like the OG MW campaign….

If they are smart, they’d include the pt demo hidden in files….

How are we supposed to NOT compare them? It should be an easy comparison: 2018 was great as the first reboot entry, but we all expect Ragnorak to have more enemies, slightly deeper combat, and set pieces that push the limits of our expectations.

If those expectations are intimidating to you as a game dev, then you shouldn’t be making 1st party games for Sony.

Just show off the hardware, that’s all of a “step” that we come expecting.

It seems more likely that they lied than they got any concrete proof that Wolverine is eyeing 2023.

Microsoft doesn’t know when their own games “are coming”, how do they know anything about Sony’s pipeline?!?

I mean, how teh fuck would they know?

It would be one thing if the ps5 and XsX launched after the XsS, so the disparity was the fault of the differing launch times.

But M$ chose to launch two consoles at the same time with vastly different hardware, with the PROMISE (who doesn’t love a good Xbox promise from the last 10 years?) that devs will get tools designed to make dual development seamless between the two Xboxes.

I guess it isn’t as seamless as turning a game down to 30 fps, 1080p, and n...

After hearing about how “shielded” drones prevent you from fast-traveling, and the only way to bypass their shields is to WAIT PATIENTLY for them to land in order to recharge their batteries.

That’s just an awful idea for a game mechanic, and now I expect it to rub me wrong in other ways.

DS2’s ending sucked harder than RE6, but I mostly agree with you.

Being able to replace the joysticks is great, but barely worth it at $200. I’ll cave on the second iteration, after they address unforeseen issues and likely offer another color.

My main concern is that the bumpers will break after 6 months like my last 2 Elites (never again, Xbox). Hopefully the parts can take a few tumbles still, even with the additional weight.

Crysis 2 was good, probs worth playing through still.

Resident Evil wasn’t as scary, hence more mainstream?

Not a bad game, but not something I need to play either. It’s like Birdbox on Netflix for me: low expectations, but I feel like I should watch it because I essentially paid for it already.

For me, I’m more inclined to play a scarier game this time of year. I’m currently choosing to instead replay Alien Isolation while playing Scorn.

I try to avoid watching trailers at all. You might wanna skip this one because it does show you levels and enemies and stuff. But, I don’t think any major beats are shown, like revealing Odin or something monumental like that.

Keep fighting curiosity, you know you’re gonna play it ;)

I’ve gotten Amnesia and Soma for $5 each…. They go on sale every Halloween.

For me, this offering is not worth doubling the cost of Live over. This shows for me the inevitable bait and switch that EVERY sub service succumbs too when they can’t output solid content of their own consistently (like HBO and PS).

I hope the UK regulators shut them down just for insulting their intelligence.

Microsoft looks foolish trying to buy their way back from more than a decade’s worth of mistakes.

Maybe if Halo Infinite felt polished after 2 years post launch and $500 million pre launch, then I wouldn’t be so turned off by the idea of them buying up 90% of western devs in order to cling to a foothold in the market that they haven’t contributed to meaningfully since Gears 3 (...
